Excellent stroller for traveling alone with a child in airports
Bottom line: Purchased this stroller specifically to use in major airports and I’m very pleased with its design and performance. I highly recommend it if you’re traveling alone with a young child. What I needed: Because I regularly fly alone to visit family in a different state with my toddler, I needed a stroller that is lightweight, maneuverable with one hand, and easily collapses; I got my money’s worth with the Summer 3D mini! What I got: This stroller is compact and utilitarian while comfortable for my growing child. The handles are at a good height and angle to avoid wrist fatigue and the wheel distance is sufficient so I’m not always kicking it (I’m 5’5”). I was extremely pleased that I can push it with one hand - after a little practice - so I am able to pull my suitcase behind me and be self sufficient from the curb. You do need to reach down and use your hand to disengage the safety mechanism to fold the stroller, however it automatically locks into the folded position and easily unfolds with one hand (I just use my foot to secure it in the open position). For child security, it’s got an adjustable 5 point harness with padding that is simple to operate for an adult; I like the additional shoulder straps so the kid can’t reach forward and pull the stroller over. The double wheels are perfect for stability and maneuvering on any surface, even on a gravel hiking path in the rain!Perks: It comes with under seat storage, albeit minimal. The designer was smart and added a double drink holder that’s got a zipper compartment. The sunshade is detachable (DO remember to remove this before you gatecheck the stroller, it might pop off if the baggage handlers are rough with it!) and long enough to be useful at sunset/going uphill facing the sun. The seat reclines slightly to keep a sleeping child’s neck at a safe angle. My only frustration was figuring out why the front wheels weren’t moving properly, but this is actually a happy problem. Apparently, both the front and back wheels each have a way to lock each individual wheel in place so you kid doesn’t roll downhill. The front pair have a little switch to lock them that is often bumped when the stroller is folded and being handled by airport staff, but ultimately I’m glad they do lock so it’s a minor inconvenience. Why I love it: I HATE inefficiency and being stuck in airport security and this stroller helps me streamline my boarding process for a less stressful (I am flying with a toddler, let’s be realistic) traveling experience. I’ve flown with this stroller multiple times and both I and my child like it so much it’s now my go-to stroller for walks and shopping trips. I highly recommend the 3D mini: it’s durable, worth the money, and has all the features!

Gets the job done
I like that it’s lightweight and compact which is helpful because my son is pretty heavy and I got tired of lifting both him and the stroller. The cup holders are a good size and have extra storage. It is a bit difficult to access the lower storage but I really bought it for short walks when I have to get him in and out of the car. The material is also breathable in his back. Perfect for the summer heat.

Super versatile
I’ve been using this from day one for my nearly-2yo (who is 10 yrs younger than my other three so I am in part comparing this stroller to those of 10-20 yrs ago) and have used and loved just about every feature. I *loved* the bassinet feature. No sticking newborn into a hot bulky car seat to take a walk or put the tiny little guy in a seat too big for him. Handy for diaper changes where there were no standing-height changing tables. Moved from bassinet to parent-facing to outward-facing once he was old enough to prefer seeing the world out there over mommy’s face. Found it very easy to switch the seat back and forth for these once I learned how (when you’re using parent-facing you will always have to turn it back around before folding the stroller). Paid the extra for the version that can stand upright when folded. Easier to store in the back of the van, easier to store anywhere. Totally worth it. Easy to fold up. *Not* very easy to unfold. Takes both hands, is awkward every single time, but for me this was completely offset by other features. Giant under-basket. I am an always-be-prepared type, not a travel-as-light-as-possible type, so a big stroller with tons of storage is fine by me (and the stroller is still much smaller than what I used years ago). I love travel system with the car seat snapping into the stroller. I did find it awkward to get it snapped all the way in. Usually had to wrestle with it, but I got the knack of it and again offset by other features. I never really used the height adjustment feature. I think I’ve always had it at the highest setting. The shade arches down far enough to keep the sun out of his eyes in all positions (I did clip baby blankets over it to extend the shade when he was lying in the bassinet). Nothing has broken, has survived a couple flights (it was worth it to me to travel with this stroller rather than borrow one at our destination or switch to a smaller stroller with less storage). Would definitely recommend!

Won't replace a Wonderfold or Mocking Bird, but the BEST folding travel stoller we've used.
This is the best "quick and easy" stroller we've used to date. It's survived afternoon trips downtown and did very well on a recent cruise; took it off the ship with us and it was invaluable. It's quick and easy to fold while still having a sturdy lock while open. It's light enough where it could be wielded easily around corners and up onto conveyor belts, yet still solid enough to survive being gate-checked (though we did put it in a carrying bag) and capable of keep a trashing little one secured. The adjustable seat is nice and when paired with the shade does keep the sun out of their eyes for the most part. The built-in zipper pouch hasn't ripped into pieces yet and works with most of the tumblers we have. The underneath storage is functional in theory, but only for softer and/or smaller items like kid coats/hoodies or the odd toy; larger bags and backpacks are just too cumbersome to get in and out. You can, however, hang bags or a backpack from the handles. I also find that the sun shade does pop off a bit too easy at times and I do wish that there was some material that went from the front edge of the seat to the foot rest to prevent the kid from putting their feet on the ground so easily. Even so, this is HIGHLY recommended folding stroller that we will be using for the foreseeable future.
