Q: Can you hardwire a direct line from a audio source to the speakers and still use the Bluetooth amplifier as an additional hookup to speakers

It does have a aux 3.5mm jack FLUSH next to tge power. Overall the speaker is good, the bluetooth adaptor on the other hand is VERY POOR design.

Q: This is advertised as 5.25" speaker set, but the cut out is shown to be 7.3 inches. Are these dimensions correct?

The inner speaker is 5.25 inch.

Q: Where does the power source connect vs the Bluetooth? My orginal Powersource is in a different room

you can use an electrical extension or use a longer speaker cable because the bluetooth has a 5 foot power cord
