Q: How can it be 100% biodegradable if there is a metal staple?

I appreciate you taken the care and time to think about it and ask. It would seem that the tiny staple is fairly innocuous. Somewhat like tea bags that have a staple. From what others have said "I wouldn't worry too much about a few steel staples in my compost; I'm confident they will readily corrode and won't make any significant difference to the chemical composition of my garden, or my health (after eating the harvest). Iron oxides are already generally abundant in soil. Also another happy Gaia Guy user did some research and said, " looked into the possible negative impacts rusting metal could have on soil, and it's minimal to zero. It would have to be a lot to make any serious negative impact. And the amount is these toothbrushes (or almost any toothbrush) appears to be ok from what I've read...to toss in your composter. From what I gather, you'd have to throw a ton of them to make even a dent." I hope that helps a bit and thank you for your support.

No finish on it. If it is kept dry it shouldn't need any. I have heard of some doing their own natural sealant ie beeswax. Thank you!

Great for environment and my teeth

Sometimes the bristles do come out and I feel them in my mouth, but it’s not really a problem considering these are natural and great for the environment. The bristles are not plastic so I don’t feel disgusted.

Nice product and nice storage box , would recommend

I liked and would recommend. One thing I can’t be sure of is the comparison between the soft/hardness of the bristles compared to regular toothbrushs. I know soft is usually recommended but I know these are good to avoid plastic waste and plastics exposure. . These come in a nice box too.

MUCH Too wide for smaller mouths

I would love to give these 5 stars. The bristles are amazing, but... the wooden handle is MUCH too wide for smaller mouths. We can't keep toothpaste in! I have never encountered this, so it didn't even occur to me to just buy one. I've used Oral b most of my life.I've found it terribly difficult to find good bristles which aren't too soft, let alone eco-friendly brushes. Sadly, I can't use the rest and I cannot seem to contact the company - there's a technical glitch on their website :(
