Perfect to cover part of our hardwood floors. It’s literally thinner than a blanket but it works well. Didn’t come with a strong new smell. EXTREMELY soft as well. We’ve had it for a few months and the colors look the same.

Looks great. Overall I'm satisfied with it. However, it is very thin. It's more like a thin blanket with a non-slip backing. Practically impossible to vacuum since it is so thin. Advertised to be machine-washable....but the 5x7 rug I bought would probably require a commercial sized washing machine.

I used this area rug to put on top of my bedroom carpet where I have my computer chair. just to protect it from getting dirty. I found this rug to be high quality and affordable. Looks to be easy to clean as well
