Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using the NYX Pro Fix Stick Concealer in the shade “Natural” for a little while now, and honestly, it’s pretty good for the price. It goes on really smooth and blends out easily with my fingers or a brush, and the coverage is buildable without looking cakey. I’d say it’s light to medium coverage, enough to brighten up under my eyes and tone down some redness, but not heavy duty if you're trying to cover big breakouts. It doesn’t settle into fine lines too much either, which is a big win. The stick format is super convenient and great for touch-ups, but it’s a small amount of product so it doesn’t last forever. The shade “Natural” works well for my skin tone, but just a head up the complexion shades do run a little light. I also tried the green corrector from the same line, and while it works, you have to be careful not to overdo it because a little goes a long way. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s life changing, but for around $9, it’s a solid option if you want something quick and easy that doesn’t feel heavy or look overdone.

I decided to check the batch number to be sure, and unfortunately, it confirmed my suspicion: the product was from 2023. So not only did it look questionable, but it was also old stock.I don’t find it acceptable to be sent makeup that’s already over a year old. This isn’t a clearance item from the dollar store. For a brand like NYX, I expected better.Frankly, if it weren’t for their eyeliner (which continues to impress), this would be my last purchase from them. Sending out old makeup is not only disappointing—it’s gross.
