Very well designed, user friendly, great quality.
I've trusted Ankar for many years for chargers which is the parent company. These systems are well thought out, integrate together seemlessly and work as promised. I was so impressed with my home system that I wired a second poperty with EUFY as well. I incorporate the E340 flood lights, the S330 video doorbell, and the S380 homebase. Setup is very easy, the instructions are easy to follow, and customer support is very responsive if you have issues. The cameras have a myriad of options for motions sensing, light activation, time, detection range, and intesity. The doorbell has a "package" camera and will notify you at delivery if you like. The doorbell and camera audio options work very well and are clear and easy to use. I have one doorbell hardwired through the existing doorbell switch which was easy to setup and works great, the other doorbell I charge, the battery holds up as advertised at roughly 6 months per charge. Charging involvews removing the battery from the doorbell with the included pin that opens the doorbell. The smart AI type options that identify faces takes a while to work and still needs some additional development work but is not a required feature feature IMHO. I use a 1TB hard drive in the base which looks like it will hold over a year's worth of video data based on current usage after several months. Installation of the hard drive is straightforward and easy and formatted via a simple menu. Access throught the app is easy and works very well. I travel internationally and can always access both properties and make any adjustments on the fly from anywhere. These hold up great through weather and PA winters. I have never had a cold weather issue with them. The night vision works so well that I seldom have the flood lights enabled for night motion sensing. The only real difference is you get color with the flood light enabled and under night vision the scene is black and white. I do not use the solar cameras so cannot comment but if they work as well as everything else they should be exceptional. Very impressed with the design, quality, user interface, and flexibility of everything in the system.

The best cameras on the market--the homebase is a great suggestion to have.
So glad I purchased this homebase for my (now) 3 Eufy cameras. Much more storage space and holds lots of video footage. I don't have to worry about deleting old videos off the app now or putting an SD card into one of my cameras. This homebase does it all.Why did you pick this product vs others?:I already had 2 Eufy cameras and wanted more storage space. The Eufy brand is top-notch over other brands. Recommended by friends and couldn't have chosen anything better. There are so many weird brands out there for cameras, but this is the best! The homebase links all my cameras together in the app. Super easy set up, as well, for both the homebase and adding additional cameras. Definitely recommend getting the homebase if you have Eufy cameras or are thinking about which brand to choose---go with this one!

Fast local storage, no missed events and app easy to use with great notification alerts.
Best system on the market for local storage, loud siren and ease of use. Coming from ring with missed motion events and forced to pay cloud service to view footage months prior this eufy system doesn't disappoint. App is easy to use, brings up cameras faster than ring and I never have an event it misses. Local storage is a must from me. Eufy does not disappoint.

Nice extra storage option facial recognition not so much.
I think this is a great add on for my Eufy floodlight camera for saving my videos. With just a 2TB drive and lots of recordings during the day I still had plenty of storage space. The videos pull up pretty quickly and run very smoothly from the home base. I do not notice any lag or degradation of video quality with it either which is very impressive. I will say that the facial recognition is more of a gimmick than a real thing. Most the time it just calls me human instead of recognizing me showing my picture. You have to be pretty close to the floodlight for it to notice me or my wife. It does recognize my dogs as pets which is impressive. Maybe other Eufy cameras work better for this. All in all I am very happy with it. I will also say that the ease of use for the homebase is also very good. We will see how it holds up.On a side note the only thing I would not recommend is using a Crucial BX500 2TB drive for storage. The drive died in just over 20 days with very minimal use. I could understand if it was being written over and over again but it was not even 20GB written of the 2TB. The drive was pretty warm coming out of the homebase so maybe heat killed it. I am replacing it with a Samsung 870 SSD to see how that goes.

love the expandable storage option, a lot
I love the expandable storage option, a lot. I hate that ring and other companies try and charge constantly for viewing security events. This comes with about 10GB of storage out of the box but is expandable for 16tb of storage! I was able to find a good 1tb storage drive for about $60 and that allows me to record 24/7 on some of my plugged in cameras. I will be replacing my doorbell soon with a Eufy!
