Vital to my improvement!
This book was exactly what I needed and was looking for! Thanks, Levy for putting this together! It’s clear, thorough, yet understandable. It’s been the sole driver of my improvement. I look forward to book #2 soo much!

Beat your Father
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It's great for someone who's been casually playing Chess with their Father or grandfather, and want to start Beating that Father or Grandfather. It's great too if you have been playing online like Chess.com and are looking for more a basic foundation to set yourself up for success.

This was the worst book!?😵💫
Listen, this was such a great book, not that I just care of Levy Rozman, but because I read this book on chess, and being I had some experience in the first place, unlike other chess books, Levy's book was explained to the pin point on everything chess, I read this whole book in one day, I was like this book was explained to the tip on how to play chess for beginners, and even intermediate to advance players like myself... I give levy a 5 star for his chess book... Hopefully his next writings continues to succeed like this book did...

Will improve your chess playing
Shows you some solid, unusual openings and good middle game techniques. Good writing. The author reminds me of Nimzovich.

Great book, but the exercises shouldn't be exclusively available on a web platform
I'm halfway through the book and I'm enjoying the content. It contains a lot of great hints and information laid out in a very concise way. My only problem is with the exercises. While it's cool that they are interactive, they shouldn't be *only* available on a web platform. Several reasons for this:1.- When I sit down to read, I try to "disconnect" from the world. I like to focus on what I'm reading. I don't like that I have to reach for my phone at the end of a chapter to scan a QR and go through the exercises. I get all the notifications and distractions I was trying to avoid.2.- What happens if the platform is down? or it's gone forever? The book then loses absolutely all the "practice" material. This is a problem with online-only content and I don't like the idea of a book having a rather important part of it available only through a web page.3.- Browser compatibility issues: This actually happened to me recently. Apparently after an update of my mobile browser (Chrome for Android), the compatibility with the platform broke. As you can see in the screenshot I attached, I can no longer go through the exercises on my phone, and I had to try to access the exercises on my computer, which is even more inconvenient. The browser update is NOT the author's fault, of course, but it's definitely an issue with web-exclusive content. Compatibility with different browsers is, and will be an issue from time to time, especially because browsers get updated often and they may behave differently on different devices. An additional complaint about the exercises; I was breezing through the book for the first 2 chapters, but it took me forever to move from chapter 3 to 4. Mostly because it has an overwhelming amount of content and opening hints in the exercises alone that I just couldn't retain in one sitting. It's a lot more than in the previous chapter. I tried to space the exercises over several days, to take them in little by little, re-doing a couple of earlier exercises from the chapter in between. But it was to no avail. Maybe it covers way too many options, or maybe I'm just too old.My phone browser problems also started when I was doing that chapter, so that added to the frustration. That's the only chapter I've had issues with so far, but I'm yet to explore the second half of the book.Overall I really love the content. It's BY FAR and without contest, the most engaging and straightforward chess book I've read. It's a book I would recommend to anyone looking to build on their skills, but the exercises shouldn't be available exclusively on an online platform. Some form of printed exercises would've been great, or at least the option to download them in PDF format (at least the "study" sections of them).

Learn how to sacrifice a rook like a pro
I read this nook and immediately became a title Tuesday winner after never having played chess before, This book raised my confidence so much I'm playing in more tournaments and found the courage to ask my dream girl out. I can absolutely attribute my promotion at work to the skills Levy teaches in this book. I stopped blundering my queen and started making brilliant moves in every aspect of my life. Levy will be invited to my wedding and funeral which he will definitely be alive for because this book will make him immortal. You are doing yourself a disservice by not buying copies of this book for you and all your friends and family.

It’ll improve your game
I just purchased this book for the third time. I gave my first copy to my son, second copy to my nephew. Maybe I’ll keep this copy unless my other nephew wants it. If he does, I’ll buy it again. This book will make you better at playing chess. It’s a book that I continue to study. Thank you to the author.
