Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popcorn Kernels, Original Yellow, 30 oz.

This popcorn is as much fun to pop as it is to eat! The kernels are huge and they lifted the lid several inches, even though I didn’t use more than I normally use. I had to remove my pan from the burner before it finished popping because I couldn’t control the lid any longer. The same amount of store brand popcorn barely reaches the lid, so these kernels are of much better quality. I decided to make the batch healthier by using olive oil for popping and then mixing olive oil and butter for the topping. It was delicious! I’m the type of person who enjoys watching popcorn pop even more than eating it, but I’m going to enjoy eating this popcorn more than usual. It’s pricier than store brands, but it’s worth the cost because it makes twice as much thanks to the giant popped kernels. It will be lots of fun with an air popper, too. I’m planning to have fun with that next time. This brand would be great for entertaining kids indoors or outdoors. I usually toss a handful of unpopped kernels onto the still hot ashes of a bonfire or grill so that I can laugh while they pop. You just have to make sure the ashes aren’t still too hot or they’ll just burn up. And you have to keep a safe distance to avoid getting burned by them as they shoot everywhere. It’s hilarious! I’ve used an air popper outdoors with the lid off to get the same results in a pinch while babysitting. You just need a small table and an extension cord rated for appliances to keep it a safe distance from the house. My niece remembers how much fun this was decades later. The huge size of these popped kernels makes this a perfect brand for having this type of fun.

Great. I’m a bad cook but they still pop pretty well. I used the whole container in like two weeks but that’s because I’m crazy about popcorn. In reality it’s a pretty good value for the size.

I have used this brand of popcorn for years and still love it. Pops up every time and provides big and delicious popcorn.

This is a bit more expensive than the store brand, but so worth it. I bought a silicone corn popper, add about a tsp of oil, and this popcorn up to the indicated measure in the silicone bowl. Almost every kernel pops and the popcorn is huge and fluffy, perfect for holding salt and butter!

I don't know why, but this popcorn is the best, pops fully and has a greater size than the cheaper brands, won't buy anything else even though it is more expensive.

This brand is the largest and fluffiest of all the brands. It also pops more kernels than any other brand. My jar has 4 years till the expiration date but, the cap came broken and I had to put it in another jar. Seems too minor to take a whole point off for that though.
