No-brainer
It works just fine. It costs 10% of the corresponding official Olympus BCX1 double charger, is more compact, and doesn't use the messy wiring system of that unit.. It perfectly charges the TechTek BLX-1 battery, which costs 30% of the 'original' Olympus BLX-1 and probably comes from the same production line. So, you do the maths.... no-brainer, isn't it? These are perfect as spares or backups, or if you simply refuse to accept Olympus markups for their accessories.

Compact and inexpensive
Whilst not as sturdy as the official OM System double charger, this is a very inexpensive alternative. It gives me an additional battery charging option. It seems well made but I will have to keep my eye on the foldaway USB cable as it appears a bit flimsy.

It works
As a battery charger it works, I just wish the provided cables were less messy, why not provide a single usb c socket on the charger body rather than mess around connecting 2 usb a cables

Does the job at a tenth of the price of the Olympus version.
The Olympus BCX-1 charger costs a fortune and isn’t even a charger. It still needs to be connected to the small charging brick supplied with the OM-1 camera. This costs a tenth of the price. It’s well-made, and connects directly to a micro USB 5v supply. Sure, it doesn’t charge as quickly as the Olympus set-up, but if you want a fast-charge then just connect the camera to the supplied USB-C cable and then to the Olympus charging brick or to any high-output USB-C charger. This takes up next to no space in my bag and weighs sod-all. It’s also cheap enough that if I accidentally leave it behind in a hotel room then it’s not going to sting.I’ve used JJC gear for ages now and it’s all good and I’ve never had any failures yet.Minor criticism? The charge status lights are not that intuitive. The product has no instructions but the display suggests that 1 LED = low charge, 2 LED = 50%, 3 LED = 75% and a steady bar-shaped LED = Fully charged. What actually happens is that there is a single LED per battery dock, and that a continuously illuminated LED = Fully charged, 3 rapid flashes with a gap before repeating = 75%, 2 rapid flashes and a gap = 50% and a single flash and repeat = low charge. But once you get how the display works it’s no longer a problem.Buy this, even if only as a backup for your expensively overpriced BCX-1. You won’t regret it. You can also buy this plus a genuine BLX-1 spare battery and still have plenty change from buying the BCX-1 alone.

Excellent Substitute
Early use indicates that this unit is effective. It is far, far cheaper than the Olympus/OM equivalent.
