10/10
For years I would buy the super expensive liquid liner only to have to smear not even hours later because if I even got a tad sweaty it was done. This Rimmel liquid liner is no joke sweat proof and I can splash my face with water after a hot walk and it still not budge! It goes in easily and lasts ALL DAY! The price is perfect! Don't be fooled by the lower price because it's the best!

Solid black, reasonably precise, and moderately long-lasting but will need reapplication.
For anyone who wears makeup, you're well aware of the PILGRIMAGE we endure to find the holy grail of cosmetic products. Unfortunately, this eyeliner is not the holy grail, but it's as close as I've come to it.Pro #1 - it's very black and pigmented.Pro #2 - it's "relatively" long lasting. From the time of application, your efforts for the perfect eyeliner look will last about 2-3, maybe 4 hours, and then it will start fade but only on the edges. It's still very much present, even after much longer than 4 hours, but the lines will not appear as precise.Pro #3 - it is easily removed with proper makeup remover.Pro #4 - it does not smudge to under your eye like how mascara or other thicker eyeliners sometimes do after a few hours of wear.Pro #5 - the brush is easy to dip back into the tube for when you need more. usually just putting the brush on the side of the inside of the tube will suffice, so no vigorous shaking is necessary (although you can if you want).Pro #6 - the brush itself is stiff and consistent, kind of like a nub of felt rather than a flowing brush like I am used to. This one dips into the eyeliner rather than having the eyeliner eject through the brush, the latter of which I hate because the brush tip would eventually dry up before the actual eyeliner would run out.Con #1 - it's not as precise as I would like it to be. The tip is pointed but still a little blunt, so to get really fine lines, you will need a very steady hand and saturated brush tip.Con #2 - reapplication may be necessary after a few hours (3-4 hours, usually), particularly to the "precise" areas (e.g. wings) or the edges where the color will fade a bit. The eyeliner is so black so it's kind of obvious where one area is faded compared to others.Con #3 - it's sometimes itchy. If applied too close to your water line, it can sometimes make your eyelids itch. it's usually just for a short minute, but that urge to plunge your fingers into your eyes to scratch it can sometimes be very strong. otherwise, you'll have to figure out a way to blink really strangely without others noticing you. It hasn't caused any redness or bumps though.Con #4 - if accidentally rubbed, it will definitely smudge but not horrifically. The smudged area can easily wiped off with your finger or napkin, but you will definitely need to reapply after that.Con #5 - it may or may not crack after a few hours. I think this is dependent on how much is applied and your skin type. Fortunately, the cracks are very minute and easily fixed. It also doesn't flake or peel off, so it doesn't leave little pieces around your eyes or on your cheeks.

Smeared all over at dinner 🙄
So, the felt tip pen style applicator is great. It is so much easier to get precision compared to a brush. The product itself is ok. I found it hard to get a dense line as the product you just put down tends to lift when you try to fill it in darker. It also moves around and comes off like crazy. It’s far from budge proof. I am used to wearing wet black eyeliner for going out at night, but the first time I wore this I accidentally rubbed near my eye and this streaked all over my face like it was still wet, 2 hours into our night out. My husband had to dab his napkin in water and get it off my face in the middle of a chic restaurant 🙄I’ll probably use it for basic eye lining but I would not do cat eye with it again. It just doesn’t stay put. Longevity-wise I thought it was pretty terrible and wears off faster than expected. I want to have to do some work to get my ‘fancy night out’ eyeliner off or wake up looking like Amy Winehouse if I didn’t remove it. I don’t want it to just fade off my face.Still looking for the perfect product!

High quality; reasonably priced
I’ve purchased this eyeliner several times. It is easy to apply to my upper eyelids as the applicator is stiff, making it easy to precisely draw either a thin or wider line. I’ve not had a problem with smudging or running of the eyeliner throughout the day. Removal is not difficult using a regular facial wash.

Don’t touch it, it’ll smudge
I really like the applicator, and the color is inky black like I like it. However, I don’t think I’ll be buying this one again. My liquid eyeliner from the dollar store lasts longer than this and doesn’t smudge at all; I only bought this one because the dollar store was out of the one I use. Multiple times, I have VERY LIGHTLY rubbed my eye and pretty much took my whole wing off. It seems to also simply fade away even when I haven’t touched the eyeliner at all. The applicator and color are great, but what good is eyeliner that doesn’t stay on? No durability whatsoever, it just doesn’t last. That alone forces me to give this 1 star.
