I can't describe how happy I was when I opened the package of Techo Glass Privacy Screen for iPhone and saw what I was hoping to see - a privacy screen protector that doesn't obscure the phone screen. I got installed a similar screen protector a few years back right in Shenzhen, China, the world capital of manufacturing of all such gadgets. It was perfect! Alas, I dropped my iPhone too many times so the thing finally cracked but I kept it on since I was simply unable to find a decent replacement! My friends were laughing at me for keeping it on, but I simply was unable to find anything of similar quality. I tried at least half a dozen different privacy screens off the shelf from the local stores - they all have been of decent quality except for one - but absolutely critical - difference - the translucency! They all tend to be too dark thus obscuring the phone screen making it very difficult to see through (and wasting your phone's battery because you would have the crank up the brightness to 100%, which would not have helped anyway!). This was simply laughable - it appears nowhere in the States one could find a privacy screen protector for iPhone that would be translucent enough to see the phone screen clearly. FINALLY - in Techo Glass I found what I was looking for and for so long: sturdy, amazingly scratch resistant, but translucent privacy screen protector that would not darken the phone screen! See my pic for how clear the screen is with the protector on. Without a doubt this product is the Best in Class! From the quality of the materials, to the ease of installation, to the customer-friendly user guide (including a link to a video tutorial) that comes with the product, Techo Glass is untouchable! I ordered this for the privacy feature but was amazed by the screen protection when I dropped it off a one-story balcony onto the cement.The privacy feature does darken your screen a bit, but that is not an issue for me since I like the brightness on my screen rather low. The comments I have heard from those standing around me let me know how great this privacy feature truly works. Most often, others notice and comment on the quality of the privacy feature when I try to show them something I am looking at on my phone. When showing my phone to others, I often have to hand them my phone, so they can have the correct line of sight to see the screen or they say, “Your screen just looks black.” But, the most telling moment of the privacy quality was when standing in a group, and someone said, “If you are going to pretend to be playing on your phone, you should at least turn the screen on!” I just laughed and turned my phone, so they could see the screen for a moment once it was at the correct angle for them to see.However, the most exciting moment came when I learned of the screen protection quality. My phone is in a fold-over phone/wallet case, which was in an open position when dropped. I have included the picture taken just before the drop to give you an idea of how far it fell. Seconds after holding my phone over the balcony edge to take the picture, my phone slipped from my hands and plummeted below. It felt like time moved in slow motion as I envisioned my phone shattering on the cement below. However, to my amazement, the only damage was to the screen protector! I have included a picture of the screen protector after removing it from my phone to replace it.It is not often you get such a HIGH-QUALITY product for such an EXCELLENT PRICE!

TL:DR: great product at a great price. Will last at least 6months if not longer. Also, very helpful customer service.I've bought this product 3 times at this point, so I figured it's time to write a review.I work in healthcare and I am constantly using my phone to check emails, private messages from patients, and use App-resources to quickly lookup the latest information. Therefore, I want to keep my screen hidden from prying eyes so best to keep this sensitive information private. This product is perfect. My husband often forgets I have the screen protector on, because it blends so well with the natural face of my phone, that he asks why I am staring at a blank screen. I also find that the protector helps keep my screen dimmer than otherwise possible (helpful for late-night reading with tired eyes).I've purchased this particular protector multiple times for different reasons. The first time was to replace a different brand that cracked on me within a few weeks. No bueno. The second time was because I tried to reposition the initial placement a few too many times so the adhesiveness wasn't that strong and after about 6months some dust got under the screen and the bubble around the dust started to distract me. This latest purchase was because I replaced my phone battery and the shop had to remove the screen protector as part of the process, otherwise, it was working fine for months! I even dropped my phone (it landed screen down!) from about 5ft up and didn't have a single scratch/dent on the screen.
