No Problem Installation
This opener (B4613T) installed and operated without any problems. The parts and pieces all fittogether without problems. The design is very nice. It is so quiet, as well. The assembly manual told me exactly what to do, although it needed to be read carefully. It took me about 3 half-day sessions to assemble, install, and wire everything. This included totally reconfiguring the motor hanging brackets from my 30+ year old Genie screw-drive unit.I also built a temporary lift pulley to lift and hold the unit in place with ropes rather than trying to balanceit on ladders. That really helped. The door switch and safety sensors wired in easily and the sensor alignment took about 10 minutes. The open and close stop positions were easy to set.The opener code programmed into my car easily, and thewireless keypad set up with no problems. Usually on projects like this, there's at least one "gotcha" that requiresa trip to the hardware store, but there were none here. I haven't tried the MyQ app yet, but so far, I'm totally pleased.

Silent, Smart, and Reliable Garage Opener!
After replacing my clunky 20-year-old garage opener with the Chamberlain B4613T MYQ Smart Opener, I’m kicking myself for not upgrading sooner. This device seamlessly blends cutting-edge tech with rock-solid performance. Here’s my breakdown:Pros:✅ Ultra-Quiet Belt Drive: The difference is staggering. My old chain-drive opener sounded like a tractor—this one hums so quietly, I barely notice it. No more waking up the household for late-night arrivals!✅ MYQ Smart Control: The app lets me open/close the door from anywhere, receive real-time alerts, and even set schedules (e.g., auto-close at bedtime). Forgot to shut the door? Fixed it from the grocery store. Lifesaver!✅ Battery Backup (MVP Feature): During a recent power outage, the backup kicked in instantly. No manual lifting or panic—just smooth operation. It runs for hours, and the rechargeable battery is easy to monitor via the app.✅ 3/4-HP Motor: Handles my heavy insulated double-door effortlessly. No straining, even in freezing temps. Feels industrial-grade but whisper-quiet.✅ Easy Installation: Took about 2 hours solo. The instructions are crystal clear, and the pre-programmed MYQ technology synced with my Wi-Fi in minutes. No tech headaches!Final Thoughts:This opener is worth every penny. The peace of mind from battery backup, the convenience of remote control, and the near-silent operation make it a no-brainer upgrade. Perfect for tech lovers, frequent travelers, or anyone tired of garage door noise.

Quiet and easy to install
This is the quietest garage door opener that I've ever owned. Installation was easy and instructions were very clear. I really love the tech advantages that Chamberlain has made. All the remotes were easy to install, love the phone app that you can use to open/close the door with, get status etc. Well worth the money for this product. I will definitely be bragging to all my friends and relatives about this product, thanks......

Rail is too short
Quiet, easy to connect to wifi, etc But, rail is 6” too short for our standard 92” high door. Even with removing the safety stop and opening to with ¾” of motor housing, bottom of door is just below opening instead of above it. Our other 3 openers (2 Liftmasters and 1 Genie) all open fully. No way to discern this with product description or before fully installed. Aggravating.

Premium features are not cheap
This unit has features that provide convenience and security. I have three doors with similar openers. With my iphone, these openers alert me when they cycle. I can see door status and operate them remotely. With many years of using these internet based features I find they are rock steady with almost no system down time. With the battery backup feature DC drive motors are employed and they have acceleration at initiation and completion of the cycles. The motor slowly starts and nearing the end of a cycle, it slows down so there is no start stop jerking. They are extremely quiet. If there is a power failure, the doors still operate. Using provided transmitters, vehicle Homelink or the outside button pad I can gain access to my house even without utility power. The light is bright internal LED.On the negative side, this unit replaces a similar Chamberlain opener made in 2015 which intermittently failed to remember the open/close stops resulting in failure to close. Reprogramming the stops restored function for a few days and then the failure returned. Based on the high cost of a replacement main board, I opted to buy this new opener. So for you math lovers a life span of 7 years equates to about $40/year to own one of these. (I have three). If you want the internet intelligence and do not want to buy a new opener, Chamberlain makes a kit that adds that functionality to a non-smart opener. (Chamberlain MyQ Wi-Fi Smart Garage Door Hub - Model Number MYQ-G0302) I have one of these kits and it integrates into the myQ app perfectly. As far as Alexa integration, I looked at that and it appears convoluted so I didn't lose a lot of time on it.I expected more than 7 years life from my previous unit and hope for 10-15 with the new one. However, in my experience more complexity breeds higher failure rates but buzzers and bells thrill me so I will live with that.
