Highly recommended Digital Mixer - Behringer XR-18 Air
If you want a great digital mixer, - this is the one to get. I have been using the XR-18 Air Behringer now for over a year and a half. Seriously when you play a gig, and you EQ it for your band. You save the scene, and in the same venue, you tell the Mixer to save that scene and most of the time, very little tweeking will you have to do. I would highly recommend this and not use Analog. I used a Mackie 16 channel for years, and Yamaha mixers for years and would never EVER go back. I use EV's for my mains (12") same for floor monitors, and one sub and have a great sound:)

Awesome
Like having a X32R with fewer channels, but for a fraction of the cost. Love this.BUT - If not for my familiarity with the X32, I would probably find the user interface very difficult to use.Behringer really need to completely redesign it. Many poorly name, poorly laid out options and features that make it extremely confusing and much harder than it needs to be to use!

Smart Mixer
Very good value for money. Good portability. Pre-amps sound good for the price point. Functionalities are smart. Have been using for about 5 years and never had any issue with it.

Behringer does it again
The more behringer gear I get the bigger of a fan I become.I know sometimes behringer gets a bad reputation, especially if you compare quality to some of its competitors. But one thing they’ll never beat behringer on is value.By far behringer is the best budget friendly brand when buying music/sound gear. This mixer is a testament to that. There are endless things you can do with this machine and software. The biggest shock for me was finding out not only is this an 18 input digital mixer with built in effects, but it is also an 18 input audio interface… that’s right! When you plug this thing into your DAW it will recognize 18 separate channels of audio. At this price that is just absurd. Not to mention it’s extremely sturdy and functional for whatever situation you need it in.

A fantastic mixer with a feature set that can't be beat!!! 2015 mixer of the year!
I've used a few digital mixers before, DL1608, Stagescape and X32. I'm not a power user or an engineer. I do sound for my bands and other bands in small lounge settings (50 to 300 people). With that that stated, what I was looking for was a way to reduce my footprint, reduce my set up and roll up time yet not lose core functionality.Pros:16 Combo TRS/XLR inputsSmall FootprintSolid quality housing - Seems rugged and durable enough to gig often.Built in Wireless is solid - 3 connection options. You can even use your own wireless router and connect the X Air router to that to extend your range.16 track recordingHuge list of rack effectsTypical digital mixer options like compression, gate, PEQ and FX on each channel8 Outs including L/R MainSimple to use iPad mixer appDCAs (sub groups)Color coding labelling for channels and bussesRTA on the PC appConsNo AES50 connection - This is amazingly disappointing. Not a deal breaker at all, but silly. I can't see why they didn't add thisiPad app doesn't have RTA - The android app might, not sure. The PC app doesBOX placement risk - By this I mean that it seems designed to sit on stage. You can rack mount it, but anytime you put a device on stage you risk losing power and worse (someone spilling something on it). I can envision some nightmare situations. No Security on built in wireless signal - There may be something there, but I didn't see anything. This means anyone can log connect to it and mess with your mix. Not good. If you're in a situation where you need security, you can just bring your own router, but this is a risk.SummaryThe positives of this drastically outweigh the negatives. For small bands this is an incredibly powerful piece of equipment. Other companies will find it hard to match the feature set in this price range. The app is so simple to learn and use. I might have a bit of an edge given I've used other iPad driven mixers before, but compared to the others this offers so many features and everything is easy to get to. For a Phase 1 app, I can only imagine how great this thing will be after a year or 2. Personally, I can't wait for them to get the X-Touch ready to use with this. They told me that they'll be making updates so the midi instructions are set up to plug and play.
