Handy Mini Smart Plug
These smart plugs are really handy for automating household devices. I also have an older bulkier model that takes up both outlets, so these are super useful since you can use both outlet plugs. The Kasa app is very responsive and you can check the total runtime of the plug. You will not be able to see energy consumption details, so if you need that information check the other smart plugs that Kasa offers.

The Curious Case of the Light That Always Knew When to Shine
It was a quiet night in the cul-de-sac.The sun dipped low over the hydrangeas. Porch lights blinked on. And inside one smartly lit home, the lamps flickered to life—right on cue.Was it magic? Was it a house elf?No, ma’am. It was my Kasa Smart Plugs doing their thing like the unsung heroes they are.Now let me tell you, this is the second two-pack I’ve bought. The first pair of these little geniuses have been loyally managing my living room and hallway lamps for months now. They come on around sunset like clockwork (or rather, cloudwork—sunset scheduling is a dream), and turn off just after midnight, by which time I’ve fully committed to being horizontal. But it’s not just about convenience—it’s the aura. When we travel, these plugs keep our home glowing just enough to say, “Someone’s definitely home… probably watching ‘Dateline’ with a snack.”And when we are home? It’s a warm welcome—no toe stubbing, no fumbling for switches, just pure ambiance and mild smugness.Setup? Painless. The app? Smoother than my second glass of wine. Reliability? Honey, they’ve got better timing than my best friend’s passive-aggressive texts. If you're looking for a smart plug that won’t overcomplicate your life, break up with your Wi-Fi, or randomly ghost your lamp, this is the one. Actually, get two. Maybe four. Let your whole house feel like it’s got its act together.

And Improvement On Older Kasa Smart Model
I've had several Kasa Smart HS105 plugs in use around the house for several years. I needed a couple more recently and purchased these EP10 units instead as they are dimensionally smaller and are rated to 15amps unlike the old HS105 which was only rated to 12amps. They install just as easily as the older Kasa unit and I decided to migrate all of mine from the Kasa Smart app to the TP-Link Deco App to get rid of an unnecessary app on my devices.

Difficult setup, good smart plugs
Good for the price. They work well. setup can be finicky. only 4 stars because i feel like more expensive ones are less finicky to set up.

A+ Product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Setup on iPhone was so incredibly easy without the need for installation of a 3rd party app. Integrates flawlessly with both Siri and google home. Will definitely be buying more.

Super convenient and easy to use with Alexa
I have this Kasa Smart Plug connected to my Echo Show, and it’s been really practical for turning my bedroom lamp on and off. I also have a fan connected to it, and I control everything just by using my voice, which makes life so much easier.Setup was straightforward, and it works reliably over my 2.4G Wi-Fi without needing any extra hubs. If you want a simple and efficient way to smarten up your home devices, this plug is a great choice!

Works Great—Even Outdoors!
I’ve been using this Kasa smart plug for my outdoor string lights and even for my quail setup. I know it’s technically not rated for outdoor use, but it’s held up surprisingly well—even through rain! It’s super easy to set up, and I love being able to control everything through the app. It makes managing my lights and quails so much more convenient. Definitely impressed with how reliable it’s been!

Extremely poor product!
On these particular Kasa mini plugs, EP10., very disappointed. and evidently the Product is known to have problems because it price has. been dropping dramatic. on Amazon .Now a two pack you can buy for fourteen dollars and change. The technical documentation. is not very straightforward. and required a couple of hours of time to get the first group working. and let me give you all a hint if you go to an Xfinity upgrade which is a 5.0 megahertz from a 2 .4 megahertz. It doesn't work at 5.0 Megahertz. You will be able to call xfinity, or if you know your way around their new router, you can. knock down the. signal from 5. Megahertz. to 2.4 Mega Hertz. allowing these to work . It may be. gigahertz versus megahertz. Just check your xfinity signal. Now to the real problem. my first group, I bought a 4 pack worked. for our several months. Wonderfully. Then all of a sudden, one of these EP10 started clicking and flashing even though I did not have the particular light on. I try to turn it on and off again using my ALEXA and also using my Casa home. apparently. updated. period to shut it off. and then to reinitialize it.First, I did the recommended soft re- set, And then I did the recommended hard set, which will cause you to have to reprogram it to integrate it with your smart home system. neither worked.Today, today, I decided to see if there was any way to contact Casa for a method or way to fix.Basically, after about half an hour on the phone, they had actually heard the device clicking which I plugged it in. I took a picture of it, and they said, yes, it's defective. And they. wanted to send me one new one. which is the only one I saved. to describe the problem. Just when I thought. they would send it to my address. They said pull your old Amazon order, wait to speak to a supervisor. We'll reconnect you. Please stay on the line. so I could foresee another 45 minutes added to the half an hour I spent on the phone tonight. Waiting I could also see on my PC and see the prices continuing to go down on these. So the less than seven bucks apiece now. So there must be something wrong. Because they keep going down in price...I guess the old adage you get. what you pay for? may may be true. But if you factor in the hours you spend on the phone with them, not to mention the hours you may do for research on what to solve the problem these smart mini plugs, the EP10 models ar....ith your time, effort or reliability.smart mini plugs, the EP10 models are not with your time, effort or reliability. The young lady that I was able to actually talk to tonight. was very polite, attentive, but she was reading off a script. Then she had to keep escalating to her supervisor and asking for 1 more piece of information and then the other. Then she says, give me a phone number. We'll call you back and we'll get all the information we need before they send one to you. At that point, all she had to do was take my name. and address. I have. a picture of iit to send . to them because they asked me for the serial number because I couldn't read it. It was so small. So I took a picture on the phone. It magnified I also have the order from Amazon that I ordered back in August. And here we are at the early part of October. Period. I usually don't write too many reviews, but this is really a cheap. faulty product. I wouldn't waste my money on it. The product is made in Vietnam. I don't know what the quality control is. but their application. and the physical switch are not. reliable.Save your money if you're just a getting one and it's. in the 30 days. Send it back to Amazon. Maybe they'll get a message. Unfortunately, my 30 days ran out at the end of September, and now it's October.POOR POOR QUALITY!!POORLY WRITTEN TECHNICAL DOCUENTATION. SO MUCH FOR GLOBAL ECONOMY
