Oh, my goodness, this is the cutest little board book ever! I bought "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" for my baby granddaughter, who absolutely adores story time. This classic book is a must-have for all families! I bought a bunch of copies when they were on sale and I have given them at baby naming ceremonies, when dropping off food for a meal train, or visiting a new mom after birth. I’m a retired teacher, and so I know that literacy starts way before your child can talk! Start reading early!

This book has been a family favorite for years. While we previously had a copy of it, my kids read it and handled it so much that after 5 or 6 years, the board book was starting to fall apart. With another baby on the way, I knew I wanted a copy to read to him, too. So it was a no-brainer in getting this one--especially when it was on sale. The size of the book is perfect for little hands, too!

I got this book to read to the baby and he likes to put his fingers into the little holes in the pageswhile he is being read to. It’s such a lovely little book with cute illustrations. There is also the cartoon version on YouTube but books are always better and more engaging.
