Replacement Clock Mechanism Kit
Had to replace clock mechanism kit and hands of a clock which had been bought as a gift a few years ago. These arrived quickly and are a reasonable price. Would recommend.

Good replacement mechanism
Why did you choose this product over others?:Cheep and cheerful replacement mechanism for my mums clock which had a lot of sentimental value for herOriginal mechanism lasted just over 40 years !!

Replace broken units.
Excellent value. Easy to install and good choice of hands, which are easy to trim to suit smaller clocks.

Appears to be ok - BUT ...
Unfortunately one of the clock mechanisms was damaged, as a result of poor packaging. I have asked for a replacement, but have yet to hear back. I shall update as and when I hear from the supplier. The second mechanism was easy to fit, as a replacement, and appears to be working fine. Time will tell (sorry for the pun).

A bit fiddly, but do-able
Bought this to try to repair an ancient electric clock that had burnt out. I would have been completely stumped if i hadn't found the instructions on the web page. A bit fiddly but not too difficult. The first snag i encountered was that all the hands supplied were far too long. However they are very thin metal which is easily trimmed with kitchen scissors. The second problem was that the hands were touching the glass, even using the shorter shaft (possibly because the glass is curved, rather than flat). I managed to work round this by placing some cardboard between the mechanism and the back of the clock, so the shaft didn't go so far through the hole. Can't judge the accuracy as it's only been running a few hours (and my botch job probably won't help).
