I like that it's not a "pick-able" lock. The instructions has a list of all possible 4-letter word combinations. I used a word that was spelled from the bottom up instead of top down. Easy to change the combination. Just don't forget your word! Heavy lock. Seems to be solid. I like that it can't be picked. I worry about key locks being easier to unlock because an experienced crook probably knows how to pick a lock (at the gym?).

This is the second one I’ve purchased for my kids. The first has been used for the last 3 years and works like a charm. It’s a time saver and convenient when they are switching classes allowing them to get in and out of the locker without having to get those annoying numbers exactly right like that of traditional locks. It’s durable, it’s been dropped multiple times and the rotorary combination dials still work. If you have a kid and the school requires a lock, this will last for years and is a value for the money.

Easy enough for a 5yo to handle and figure out. Easy Peasy. Buy it, use it…done and done.

This is a great lock. It is nicely unique and easy to find the locker because it's different! It was easy to change the combination and it's nice to be able to unlock with a word. It makes it easy to remember. The ONLY (and it's a small) tiny issue I have is that it can be a bit snug to get into the locker hole. But I've gotten used to it, so it's not so bad!Just be aware that it might be a bit challenging for some locker types.

Weather proof, struggles during below zero temp but works well in any other weather.

I purchased this lock several months ago, but waited to review it, in order to see if it would continue to work under daily use and abuse. Now, having used it and abused it since June, I can state that it performs flawlessly. I use it at the YMCA on a daily basis, and have dropped it on the hard flooring several times. Although nicked and scratched up a bit, there's no loss in performance and nothing has come loose. Several reviewers stated that this lock was a piece of junk and prone to falling apart; I suspect that they received a defective one, as I've had no issues whatsoever.I love the fact that you can use words to set the combination lock. Words are so much easier to remember than numbers, and if you want to change the word, it's simple to do so. The lock is very sturdy and just as trustworthy as the old fashioned Master locks. Apparently the color choices are sent out randomly, but I was lucky and received the blue one that I wanted.The bottom line is that this is a fantastic lock, and at least for me, it works perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a word to a number combination lock.

Been using this lock for a month now.Looks well made.Very easy to set, and to use.The ‘barrel’ shape makes it sit more securely in the recessed space on the lockers I use
