Scotchgard water shield spray , tried and trusted in our home for years . Now bought mainly to help protect the various varieties of outdoor footwear in the house , but is also very useful on most fabrics you want to protect from light spills and splashes. Easy to use ( ensure you do follow the instructions though) and the slight odour quickly dissapates. Not always the easiest of products to find on the high street but this twin pack is extremely good value.

It's very easy to use BUT ...It didn't mention anything about washing the cotten jackets before spraying, but just in case there might be some grease/oil anywhere I washed them with detergent only. I bought two cans of 400ml to treat 3 jackets and a bucket hat. I tested the treated cotten jackets and hat with the running tap test and they failed. I sprayed all the garments for a 2nd time and they are now water repellent. I still have some spray in the last/2nd can I might try for a 3rd coating

Does the job very well and price is fair. Have purchased many times. Delivery is quick and packaged well.

I treated my hiking boots with this product and found it to be very effective in keeping my feet dry when walking through wet grass or heather. Give the aerosol can a good shake at room temperature before spraying. I treat my footwear before every walk or hike and have dry feet every time.

Item does what it says, however the misleading weight of the item is ridiculous. It claims to be 400ml, I weighed each can when it arrived both were around 382ml in weight, this is including the can’s weight, I have an empty can that I weighed to see how much I was actually getting, it’s 90g so both cans contain less than 300ml of liquid and I think that’s lying to your customers on such a large scale. It’s not okay. Change the packaging to reflect the products actual weight, it’s flat out lying otherwise. I mean even claiming to be 300ml would be a lie but much less of a lie. Literally getting 292ml of product in a can that claims 400ml, not okay Scotchgard!!!

Have just used it on my corner sofa, was easy to use, no marks, hoping to get good results if accident ever happen in case of spilling. Delivered much quickly than expected. Was convenient to buy from Amazon, instead of buying from a store, it was difficult to find in shops.
