Solves several problems for longer term wear! Wonderful design!
NY has had "mask in public" protocols in place for some time and I have tried many, many masks in an attempt to find something I could wear for extended periods at work and in public. This mask design is nearly perfect and solved several problems. 1. It is shaped to cup the chin. This is critical so the mask stays in place when you speak and your mouth does not pop out of the bottom. Similarly, there is a bit of a "pocket" for your nose. This combination of features keeps the mask snug to the face and resistant to "slips" up or down. 2. The band behind the head (between the ear loops) is a fantastic feature that both keeps painful pressure and friction off of the back of your ears and also allows you to lower the mask and keep it hanging around your neck- when social distance allows- and easily popped back up and on when needed. 3. It comes with a removable/replaceable carbon filter that now meets recent public health guidelines for 3 layer masks. I have worn at least 5 different styles of masks and none of them compare. When I got this mask and tried it on (bought a pack of 3), I immediately bought 2 more sets of three for family and friends. The search is over for me. This is my last mask. Highly recommended. Stay safe everyone.

XL fits a guy with an 8 1/4 hat size
I’m a large guy - 6’1”, 225 pound weight lifter, former football player and ice hockey goalie. This mask fits me. Pro/Con -Pro- Fits a big guy, fully covers my nose and mouth without fail. Does not move or get out of place.- it’s a little tight but I like the ear loops and the neck band. The neck band distributes the weight around the neck, not just the ears preventing the “Yoda look”.-Easy to hand wash, hang dry. Dries quickly.Con- a little tight but it’s soft enough that it’s not an issue for meI use these at the gym and I hand wash them with the disinfectant quaternary ammonia, rinse and hang dry.I HATE the gym idiots with the 1/2 size masks, the “nose out” clowns and the masks that leave 1/2 inch of space between the nose and the mask. So I wear this mask because it’s the best cover mask I’ve come across. Hope that helps.

The Most Comfortable Mask I've Worn
I work in the medical field, dialysis to be specific. Everyday I work, I have to wear a surgical mask and sometimes they can get irritating, but I have incorporated one of these masks along with the surgical mask to be worn during work. They are comfortable and contour to your ears fairly well with the elastic strap in the back helping to hold the mask in place. I love that the mask actually covers your nose and chin along with the sides of your face. There is a slot for you to place filters that can be replaced and I bought a pack to use with these masks. I never feel airflow restriction and the surgical mask that I place on top of this one now feels more comfortable.Other masks that I have purchased in the past feel small, but these (adult size L/XL) fit my face and my wife's face just fine. I have actually purchased multiple sets of these masks and don't use any others at the moment due to the comfort I get from these. I have probably about 12 pairs of these and wash them once a week (only wear them all day once). Even after a few washes they still feel comfortable and can be reused with a new filter. Great for any time you go out and you can feel that you are protected while doing activities through social distance.

I still can't find the right mask that's comfortable, and Safe+Mate missed the mark
I heard about Safe+Mate from the Case-Mate website, though I purchased on Amazon. I swear by Case-Mate phone cases, so I figured that I'd give them a chance as so far, I've been happy with their products. I bought a 3 pack and was disappointed. First of all, my adult large sized masks were still a bit too tight around my ears, and my head is not huge. The strap is supposed to reduce tension on the ears but actually adds more tension, and makes the mask feel too tight around my face when wearing it as instructed. Now I wear them with the strap about the back of my head, but with the ear straps below my ear. That works OK to wear for short periods of time, but the mask falls down on my face sometimes. I basically wear it around my neck and then pull it up over my face when I need to wear it. The 100% cotton mask makes my face feel too hot. I gave them a try, but I still haven't found the right masks for me to feel comfortable all day.

The best masks I own
I have this big giant stack of masks now, but these are far and away my favorites. They are large enough to cover my round chubby face with room to spare, they have a strap that goes across the back of my head which helps the masks stay in place better than almost any other mask I have and they have included areas of extra fabric for the nose and the chin to ensure full coverage and a good seal.I've worn these for a full day and not felt uncomfortable at any point during that time period there are straps to go behind the ears along with the one that goes across the back of the head, and none of them pull or tug or are uncomfortable period because of all that support, the mask stays exactly where it's supposed to and doesn't fog up my glasses or have to be adjusted all day. These may be a little bit more expensive than some other masks but they wash well and I know I'll get many uses out of them, which brings the per use price down quite a bit.Of all the masks I have, these are about the only ones I would wholeheartedly recommend.
