Save yourself a lot of money
Works fine. Pretty typical Chinese made capacitor but let’s face it almost everything. Electronic is made in China now. Wanted by American but this one offered 4 AM next day delivery.Pretty typical, the AC guy wanted $410 plus tax to replace this capacitor. Bought this one for $22 and it took me 10 minutes to change it. AC started up immediately and quietly. Don’t know how long this will last but for $22 I could buy one every year if I had toIt’s very easy. Just cut the power, short out the capacitor with a screwdriver to make sure there is no stored charge, and then just follow the existing wiring for the fan and compressor.

AC Restored!
AC went out! Ordered part before 9 am and was on porch by 4:30. AC pushing cold air again! Picked up a second one to keep on shelf for next time

Works on my old Carrier
Worked on my 38CK-030-310. Not the same size, so I had to adjust the bracket, but same specs/function. Would totally buy again.

Always keep one on hand
Does what a capacitor is supposed to do. Got my AC up and running (condenser fan not running). Always keep one on the shelf because they WILL eventually fail....usually on the hottest day.

Replaced the cap in my 10 year old Carrier 3.5ton AC unit
My original AC unit is 10 years old, still runs, but replaced the capacitor as part of preventive maintenance, because I want to make sure I get my AC run at least 3-5 more years until it has to be replaced with the new R-454B or R-32 outdoor unit and indoor evap coil since R410a units ceased production in 2025. I tested the original CAP microfarads, and the compressor rating was still in acceptable spec, but the fan motor microfarads was more than 50% low. When this happens, you are burning more energy to maintain fan speed. (pro tip, ALSO spray-clean your condenser coils at least 1x every 1-2 years to reduce static pressure drop and loss of heat transfer to save on energy). This capacitor was easy to install and I picked it because it matched the band clamp diameter for fitment. I also tested the new cap and the microfarad ratings were slightly low, but where within rated tolerance. Just remember to disconnect power to your AC unit and ground out the old capacitor before attempting removal.
