Totally NEW design - GREAT feel and performance
Im a 12 handicapper, mostly shoot low-mid 80s. I have been playing ProV1 for years, but it hurts so much when I lose one!! I just turned 65 and found out my swing speeds have come down about 10-15 mph, meaning I also cannot compress a ProV1 as much as the old days. My son bought me some Callaway Supersofts and they surprised the heck out of me! I lost about 10 yds off the tee with driver, but at half the cost, they were a great alternative with the exception of short-game spin compared to the ProV1. Enter the WS ZIP - Great feel, very good off the tee but much better short game spin/bite. AND - 2 boxes for the price of one box of Supersofts!! Performance-wise they compare very similarly to the Supersofts and AVXs, but price-wise they stand alone. I hand out sleeves to my playing partners and doubters, I have yet not to receive a sleeve in return with a smiling "THANKS - I would have never guessed"!! If you're a discriminating golfer looking for great ball at an ever better price, Buy them - you will NOT regret it!

Great Golf Ball Value
Who knew? Wilson makes a great ball for about a dollar a ball. Best for slower swing speeds.

Control Freak
Remember this is a $1.00 ball before you trash it for not being equal to a $5.00 Pro V1. Pro V1 is still the "gold standard" in overall performance.I give away company-logoed Pro V1s to my clients. ("Brand" is image you know.) But I hit the Wilson Staff Zips -- mostly. I find I can "compress" a Zip very similarly to the Pro V1s. Both balls give me "control" to work the ball R to L. I am 67 years old and have a 9.9 USGA index. (I used to be a 6.2 "back in the day.") I find the Zip shallow dimple pattern produces penetrating carry that provides competitive distance to the Pro V1. I hit it about 250 these days, but the control helps me maintain a 67% FIR -- so I hit about 9-10 of the fairways of the 14 driving holes. Being in the fairway really helps you score. (Ask Phil.)The softer ball control effect also helps me hit my approach shots with more consistency. I can feel the ball stay on the iron face tat microsecond "longer" that makes all the difference in being able to "work” the ball R to L or H or L.I find the $5 Pro V1 "drops and stops" (as advertised) better than any ball including the $1 Zip, but the Zip does not roll forward far enough -- maybe another 3 feet or so instead of just 1 foot, but that is insignificant at my level of play. Don't forget that this IS amateur, recreational golf, not the US Open. (Another "Ask Phil.")Putting a softer ball is really important. I use an Odyssey with a soft insert. This give me -- guess what? - more control on the greens. I must add at this point that the Fatso 5.0 grip has reduced my 3-putts and is the best $25 I have spend on golf equipment since I spend $500 on 1-SW set of PING Eye 2's in 1988. Love those grandfathered box groves. All in all, FOR THE MONEY Zips are a great deal. DISCLAIMER. I like the $2 each Wilson Staff Duos better (guess what? even more control and closer to a Pro V1) and just Sunday I found a Srixon Q Star SL on #8. After shooting big fat 44 on the front with a Pro V1, I played it on the back and shot 39 that coulda, shoulda been a 37 if the 2 lip outs would have fat lipped the other way.I think the marketing folks have us pretty well micro-segmented now. You what you are willing to pay for. It's all a matter of knowing your game and then deciding how much you want to spend - $1 (Zip), $2 (Duo), $3 (Many), $4 (Many), or $5 (Pro V1).Hope this helps you “get your game!”

Don’t buy from resale, pay full price!
Don’t order this product from Amazon resale. The last two times I’ve purchased, they’ve only sent one dozen balls (should be double dozen)Likely people are taking out a dozen and returning the other dozen and they aren’t inspecting the return. It’s a shame, I do like the ball itself.Mid-handicap (12), ball is good for a slower swing speed but soft and checks up on the greens.

Best 2 piece ball out there for the money
These balls offer a tremendous amount of forgiveness, spin, durability, and distance for both beginners and seasoned players with slow to average swing speeds. While the price would suggest otherwise, these aren't you standard cheap Walmart rocks. They have a soft touch outer shell and a springy soft core that comes off the club face great every time. Just buy them already if this is the level of golf ball you are at, you won't find a better deal. Also, a lot of reviews say they only received 12. I bought the ones sold and shipped by Amazon and received a 24 pack as advertised.

Great!!
These golf balls are great! I hate that they aren't making them anymore. I would say stock up but then they would run out faster. If your swing speed isn't 120 then you can tell a huge difference.

Overrated
I bought theses after seeing a quite a few reviews on You-tube and recommendations from fellow golfers who swear by them. I saw that they were tailored to players of my swing speed and handicap level, so I instantly wanted to check them out. I bought these off Amazon and my reaction after game them over the last six rounds is "MEH..." The price is great as I think it was like $31.99 for this double dozen. However, the on course results were a little disappointing especially considering all the hype. The ball is shorter than pretty much everything I've been using off the tee including the Tour Soft, Srixon Soft Feel, and the ERC Soft. The irons were a little better, but still a little shorter than all those. The flight trajectory also seems lower than normal for some reason. Around the greens pitching and chipping-wise they were decent, but nothing spectacular. (Roll-out was minimized but pretty much impossible to "drop and stop"). Also they generally fly straight, but nothing better than what I've been using. Not to clicky off the putter, but doesn't feel soft either. All in all, they are okay, but considering all the fandom love for it, I thought I was getting the golf-ball of my dreams at a dream price...Apparently not.
