I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I've given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc.I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you.Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings:1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro's same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend.2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo.3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it's antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges.4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there's this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up.5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush.6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller.7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother's more aged eye area. It's rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks.8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades.9. It lasts so much longer than you'd expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later.There are times when you don't want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look... but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.

Let me be clear: my under eyes, in their natural state, resemble the Crypt Keeper after a long weekend. I’m talking purple half-moons, puffiness that could qualify as carry-on luggage, and a general aura of “haunted Victorian orphan.”Enter: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. This little magic wand is the reason people think I’ve “been glowing lately” when in reality I’ve been surviving on coffee, spite, and three hours of sleep.One swipe and BAM — it’s like I just got back from a spa retreat instead of binge-watching true crime documentaries until 3 a.m. The sponge tip? Weirdly satisfying. The coverage? Chef’s kiss. The price? Bless Maybelline for letting me lie to the world without going broke.If you, too, would like to trick people into thinking you're well-rested, emotionally stable, and not being slowly devoured by adulthood — this is your holy grail.10/10, would conceal my soul again.

I don't know about you, but there are times I leave the house in a hurry with no make up or think I'm going to one place where I don't care how I look and then end up some place I do!This product is perfect for that! Now, I'm not saying it can't be my go to because I have one at my vanity too, but it is the perfect size for my purse. I have a super small bag that has this, two creame eye shadows, a mascara and my brow pencil and brow hold gel. this product ends up being my whole whole foundation and it looks great! The soft applicator acts like a brush as long as I don't overwet it. Once it is dry, I can add all the other things and I look great! So, do I look better when I have lotion and primer and finish spray? Yes. Does makeup last longer with setting spray? Yes. Do I wand to carry around my whole makeup vanity? NO! Does this really do the job when I get caught out on time or place? YES!!! Oh and does it change color and get orange the longer I wear it? No! It stays put and stays true to color! Highly recommend. (And I am 52 so I think it is good for mature skin too.)

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Let me tell you! As a woman who has used concealer all my life (70 yrs young) and purchasing every brand made from High end Lancome, Estee, and everything above and in between there is NO better than this! It covers nicely, DOES NOT CREASE and is the best of the best. I use shade 160 which is a pink and it blends perfectly with no cakiness or creases. Goes on smoothly and the sponge tip makes it so easy to apply. Ladies (and gents) Quit wasting your money on the high end crap and give this a try. You will NOT be disapointed!

I have rosacea on my cheeks and redness on the tip of my nose and this covers it perfectly! I start with washing my face, a light moisturizer, once dry then I dab this on my red areas and smooth/blend out with my beauty blender, then do a little concealer/liquid foundation and you cannot tell that I have any redness to my face! I like that its so portable, small and compact. To get the product out, you turn a couple clicks and it comes out of the sponge applicator, making it super easy to apply to the area you want to reduce/hide redness.

I don’t normally write reviews nor post a picture, but I have to do it for this product. I did the virtual try on on the Amazon app. I have used concealers in the past and have given up due to the caking and settling in my wrinkles that occurs. However, I couldn’t wait to try this on and when I did, I was amazed. I’m posting a picture which I don’t normally do, but it’s nice to help somebody else out and not spend the unnecessary money for higher priced make up to get a good product.
