Love this product.

This is probiotic sauerkraut. They use Himalayan Pink Salt and not too much. Many commercial pickled veg products contain a lot of salt which makes them tasty but also unhealthy. This product is designed to be healthy. I am beginning to like the taste, but it is not as dynamically flavourful as you might expect. It is however very healthy and in it's own way quite tasty. I like it more and more and recommend it highly.Ingredients as per bottle: Himalayan pink salt, green and purple cabbage, dill and juniper berries with caraway.

Taste is awesome but it's an acquired taste for indians as it has fermentation smell too. But it's authentic as it does not go bad for long time if kept in a refrigerator. Do not freeze it. Just keep opening and mixing it after few days. Value for money. No leakage. It's slightly acidic tasting which is due to fermentation.

The taste of the product...very sour indeed. I had to add a little sugar. Although it says juniper berries on the label, there were none in the jar. The dill was superfluous. Please note that sauerkraut is not kimchi without spices. It is finely cut fermented cabbage....I found large pieces of uncut cabbage in the jar. After cooking and adding various items it tasted nice ...but it is NOT sauerkraut. Would not recommend to my friends who know what sauerkraut actually tastes like.This item needs more refinement before it can be called sauerkraut.

I'm not only so thrilled to be able to get sauerkraut in India, but this product is exceptional, it's just the best sauerkraut in every way. It's delicious and feels healthy even just to smell it. And the taste, exceptional! And I've had a lot of sauerkraut in my life. I finished the first bottle in no time and I just received my second order. I was worried because reviews of the packaging are so bad. But I think the company must have paid attention because it was the most careful packaging I've ever gotten. Almost too much, but with such issues in the past, better safe than sorry. If you like or want to try sauerkraut, go for it! Yum yum!!!

Love taste of this sauerkraut

Packaging was good but there was no icepack meaning that the sauerkraut was exposed to Indian summer temperature at which good bacteria starts to die.Now the product itself seems good. This is my first time trying saerkraut so can't compare the quality with anything. From the understanding that I have from reading various blogs, it seems to me that the quality is good.The taste is horrible initially but your tastebuds will get accustomed to it
