Helps with my severe allergies
Almost returned this due to I have a different model vornado so I didnt think it would fit. But I decided to keep it and cut it up to use it in other air purifiers that I have. The quality of these filters are excellent. Its not even close with the other cheap charcoal filters that fall apart and leave residue everywhere.This filter helped me to get thru an entire day of work without wheezing and resorting to wearing a mask. I work in a office but the air quality is so bad with dust and mold everywhere. I have used other filters before but they dont really filter out vocs and odors.These when used along with a high quality filter, filter out smells too. As someone with Chemical ssensitivities and dust and mold allergies Vornado products are very helpful!

You Need A Carbon Filter
I have two Vornado units and they do a great job of "scrubbing" the air a room. After the initial purchase, the big cost is the replacement filters and carbon filters. Don't just get the regular filter, you need the carbon one as well. It help eliminate odors and keeps the air being recirculated smelling fresh and clean. It also helps prolong the life of the other filter as it is the front line for catching dust, hair and other particles. If you keep yours running, I recommend taking it out and dusting it off outside monthly so that performance isn't impacted. These usually last me 4 to 6 months.~ Kort

Exact replacement brand name filter
This filter is an exact replacement carbon filter for my Vornado AC350 air purifier, It works as good as the original filter because it is the Vornado brand filter. It's more expensive than off brand filters, which I may consider to give a try the next time I require a replacement.
