Really nice! Remember to remove the tray!
The blue is just like in the Amazon picture—an attractive slate blue. I’m glad I noticed before filling it with dirt that you have to pull the bottom off. Once you do you have great drainage holes and a nice tray to catch the excess water. If you don’t pull if off of the pot the pot will not drain.

Buy a Bigger Size Than What You Need
The is decent plastic pot for the price - no complaints on quality. However, I bought this 10" Bloem Planter to transplant a houseplant from an existing 8" pot. I have this model now( Novelty 10102 Full Depth Round Cylinder Pot, White, 10-Inch ) in the 8" size. When I transplanted, I expected to use more than four handfuls of potting soil to fill the new pot. The reason you can't is the Bloem's bell shaped container. It's 10" at the top and decreases to almost 8" less than a quarter of the way down, while the "Full Depth" pot is the same width throughout. I really needed a 10" pot and recommend that you go one size larger than needed, i.e. I should have bought the 12" pot. I got this Bloem model as it cost a lot less than the "Full Depth" model. Penny wise and pound foolish, as they say.

Seller CANNOT guarantee the shade???
I purchased 6 of these 5" pots to use along with the green 7" pots. These pots are SUPPOSED to be SPO532 Sea Struck. I received SPO527 Calypso. Its a light turquoise, sea foamy color & while its not a horrible color, I won't get the effect I wanted. The seller says the color I received matches their records. Ummm...no, not when the numbers are completely off & even my invoice refers to the Sea Struck shade. They literally emailed me & said they can't guarantee the shade. With that logic, I guess they could send pink pots even though the listing is for the deeper blue/green color. The pots themselves appear to be in good shape. They're the size I was expecting the water tray is nice to have. Some of the trays needed to be snapped back into place but no biggie. The plastic isn't too cheap or thin. & should hold little plants nicely. Plus, these pots are actually made in the US!I removed a star from my rating based on the sellers inability to "guarantee the shade." Its one thing to take into account shade differences online vs. in person; but to be sent a COMPLETELY different color based on the label itself, is another story. Please give a "helpful " click if you enjoyed this review.

Cute little pot, pay attention to the measurements and the saucer
I got the 5 inch pot in black. The pot measurement is based on the fact that it is a tapered pot; it's 5 inches in diameter at the rim, but about 3.5 inches in diameter across the very bottom. It's about 4.5 inches tall. I knew all of this before I purchased based on reading other reviews, so I am happy with the size--but if you really need to fit a certain amount of soil, recommend getting the next size up.This pot DOES have six holes at the bottom. Three of the holes are where the saucer pegs snap in. The other three holes are for drainage. I did not fully remove the saucer; I very gently pulled it a little and pushed against the pegs from the inside just so the saucer wasn't so flush against the pot. Another review mentioned that the pegs have ridges.. I don't know about that, but it is possible to pull the saucer away enough to allow for drainage without pulling it all the way off. I think pulling it all the way off would be precarious. You also don't need to switch the holes or anything. I tested this by putting a little bit of water in the pot; it drains into the saucer just fine.

MADE IN THE USA! What more needs to be said. Great quality. Great price. Great product.
Like many others who are forced to stay home because of a pandemic I got into some home gardening. More specifically house plants. I've bought two of these BLOEM planters with saucer and they are fantastic. Sturdy, great quality, and a great price. Now I don't keep mine outside, so it's possible that sun and other elements could be harsher on them. But they make great liners to my high-quality ceramic planters, and are easily removed for watering, cleaning, or pruning. And if you don't understand the watering holes option, just press on each peg separately inside the planter and loosen the saucer. You can use a spoon or something if they're really stuck in their. Remove the saucer and you have drainage holes! Place the planter back on the saucer off-center from the holes and you have great drainage. I will never buy another plastic pot ever again. A quality Made in the USA product.

Poor drainage-design retains too much water for healthy plants
I bought a bunch of these because they were i expensive and I thought they’d be good for both indoor and outdoor use. I liked the built-in tray for self-watering feature. Unfortunately, it retains too much water. There needs to be more space between the bottom of the pot and the bottom of the tray, to allow it to serve as a reservoir for water, keeping extra moisture on reserve but not soaking the plant roots in excessively wet mud. A few of my indoor plants turned very yellow and sickly. The outdoor ones seemed to fare better, probably because of the hot sun evaporating sone of the excesss. For outdoor use, the water retention actually proved beneficial for my hanging pots of wave petunias. These flowers always seem to need a lot of water and being hanging pots, all the more so. To address the lack of space under the pots I may try adding a few of those little round cork pads which you’d normally use underneath items to protect surfaces from scratching. If one could increase the space between bottom of pot and dish I think the pots would be great. For outdoor use, one could always remove the reservoir dish and/or drill more holes. Obviously not s solution for indoors, but the pots can be made usable. They are otherwise attractive and affordably priced and come in a nice array of sizes.

These are perfect planters. The tray at the bottom collects excessive water so you can put the planter directly on the floor.

A no brainer planter, nice and sturdy
I ordered this for my lovely plant that outgrew its original pot to the point that I was ashamed to look at it.It is way bigger than I expected, but that is my fault. On the bright side, my plant has plenty of space to spread its roots now. It is very well made, comes with a saucer that is attached which you can push in, and quite easy of the eye. I thought I would have to buy one of those planter covers but it can wait. I would repurchase

Larger then expected.
I didn't pay attention to the size, but it is large enough for a 6 foot tree. Quality is very good if you want to pay this price. I have amazon prime so free shipping.

Garbage
Garbage, this was NOT 12" and came completely warped. Not impressed as I waited several weeks and have to start over now.
