Does not smell that bad. Yes it has a rubbery smell
Does not smell that bad. Yes it has a rubbery smell, but what do you expect? Was a bit strong the first few days but I kept them near an open sliding glass door with the screen closed when I was home. Still smells a bit in the room (I have only had them for less than 2 weeks), but its tolerable and I have already worked out while using them multiple times without any problems.

Nice starter set
Nice starter set! I definitely want to order some larger weights too but it's not in the budget right now. These feel like gym quality though! Feels good in your hands.

Great set!
I haven't checked the weights on these for accuracy, but they sure feel heavy! Not smelly (like I read in some other reviews), easy to grip, fits perfectly on my Olympic bar.
