The frame itself doesn’t come assembled, you have to put it together yourself. It comes with a very clear instruction and with screws and other stuff. You just have to follow the instructions, it’s super easy. The final product looks amazing, the individual frames are true to size, the whole thing looks and feels sturdy.

I found this easy enough to assemble but does require fettling. It hangs nice and even.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Present for my Mum for her 80th birthday. This provided the right amount of pictures at the right size too. Photo storage:Frames were sturdy and pictures looked great in them.

I recently assembled a set of bunk beds which was easier than assembling these photo frames which I found difficult to assemble due to the poor quality of the screws provided, they are aluminium rather than steel. I have bought steel screws which work a lot better and a bradawl was useful too. But the frames look good once assembled

Very pleased with end result for the price. Simple enough to put together, each frame is numbered and you put them together in order. I nearly slipped up (didn’t read the instructions properly) by putting a long silver screw in the plate to join frames 1 and 2, there are shorter black screws for this. The wooden dowels just push in place and help you to align the screws in the holes. The only frame that gave me any problem was number 10 where I had the dowels in place plus one screw and the other screw just wouldn’t line up with its hole. I then realised that frames 5 and 6 had flopped out at the edges. As soon as I supported them from underneath to bring them back to the horizontal everything fitted together easily.

I wanted to take a present to a relative abroad, so the fact that this came as 'flat pack' was a big advantage, though it is quite substantial (good) and therefore quite heavy (ok if not travelling). Assembly is straightforward if you follow the instructions to the letter; but be careful to do so, and look closely at each frame to see exactly which way round it goes.I had carried a small Philips screwdriver with me but found that it needed quite a substantial one as the pieces need to be tightly fitted togehter. As long as you do this, however, the end result is strong and stable. I was pleased with it.
