I have a beautiful custom sized desk top that I have been looking tp convert into a sit and stand workstation. After weeks of searching I decided to buy this electric base. My work area is in my home office (I am a freelance web developer) and it now gives me the working flexibility I have been looking for. I'm quite satisfied with the frames ability to change to varying heights with a minimal noise. The steel frame with dual motors has a nice finish and is very sturdy. The standing helps to alleviate my back pain (old bike accident and years of wear and tear. The height range is great as I'm tall (6'2 but who's counting) and my daughter is much shorter so we can both use the desk. I would definitely recommend this frame for anyone who is looking for a nicely made custom desk.

This frame has what I would consider a commercial quality build. Thick steel and excellent welds all covered with what looks like a baked on finish. I expect the frame itself will last a long, long time. It was pretty easy to assemble. A handy person could easily put it together in half an hour. The motor and controls work well, no problems or concerns there. The only question will be how long the electronics hold up. Time will tell, but I have no reason to doubt they will last a good long time.

Very sturdy even when at a height of 45 in. This unit does not reverse when contacting an obstruction but I'm really happy with the purchase.

I added a 6ft x 3ft butcher block to create a desk/craft table. I wanted the option to sit or stand while working at the desk and an extra large workspace for crafts. I now have a beautiful walnut topped desk with adjustable legs.

High Quality powder coated solid steel, HEAVY & thick solid base legs clearly make this desk stable with fine screw-adjustable floor pads, smooth quick operation. Very Easy to follow instructions. Only a few steps to assemble & initialize system and it was ready to go. Something hard to find these days is product support.
