I live in Charleston, SC in an old townhome with very little AC upstairs. This little mighty machine keeps our upstairs cool (2 bedrooms). It is a little loud but I personally like sound. I will say it doesn't fit perfectly but that could just be my windows. I had to add strips of tape to cover up the openings. But overall, this little thing is a great value and keeps us cool!

We purchased 2 of these……I installed them both, and my back did not kill me! I gave away my 2 perfectly working AC’s last Fall because I was done lifting Engine Blocks!!! We have not had much warm weather yet, but on the couple of times we have used them, quiet, COLD. AND NO BACK PAIN!!!

Awesome A/C! Easy to install, quiet during sleep, and has a great variety of functions with the handy remote. Very satisfied that this summer will be a breeze especially in a cape cod type of house on the second floor.

One month in so far. Texas. Much quieter than my previous one. Using in a 192sqft tiny home. Still wake up hot but that's due to sleeping in the loft. The buttons and remote are great but I really wish this was wifi compatible.

Best little ac unit ever! We live in a camper and only have one ac. The one ac doesn’t help us during the summer so we got this unit and we love it. It does the job great and keeps it cool in there.

6,000 BTUs of Pure LiesI bought this unit thinking we were due for an upgrade—5,000 BTUs to 6,000, should’ve been an easy win. Nope. This isn’t an air conditioner. It’s a glorified noise machine that only sounds like something’s happening. It’s not. The temperature doesn’t drop.This unit blows room-temperature lies in your face.Bottom line? This unit doesn’t belong in anyone’s window—it belongs in the return bin. If you’re considering this thing, do yourself a favor and don’t. You’d get better results taping a popsicle to a box fan.

Just okay. We ordered the 6,000btu AC for our apartment. It’s lightweight, small, and cools our place surprisingly well. The (major) downside is the noise. It just runs loud. It doesn’t blend into the background like other units I’ve had and It’s pretty annoying to have running while reading, listening to music, or watching TV. It’s not worth the hassle to return, but if noise is your concern I know there are better options.
