You have to kind of "put it together", which can take some time to get just right. The circular "inner tube" of fluff, contained inside strong fabric, has to be manipulated into the soft wrap of the bed. A little tricky getting it just right inside the bed wrap so that the bottom of the bed is a good bottom. I've tried twice and still want to rotate the entire fluff circle heavily stuffed into the bed, so that the bottom is really a bottom, without the sides being a little low to the floor. I've got two and will sometime revisit seeing if it can get better.The completed beds are very nice. Very soft; my cats took to them right away and look in relaxation heaven. The small dog size I got is still a little large for my whopper 18-pound cats, if that's helps with a reference. Actually both cats could sack out together without being very cramped.

My large cat is very finicky and a creature of habit, so I was not sure she would use this. However I wanted her to have a soft, warm cozy place to sleep. It took a few days before she tried it, but is now her go-to place. Even my husband and I admit that we want a human sized bed like this!

I just realized that the center part separates and comes out! It's great when the pet has an accident and you just need to wash the center part. I just bought a second one because I like it so well!

My dogs like it sort of but I wish the sides were more structured. The sides are really soft so when my dogs try to curl up on it the sides fall down, making the donut shape kinda pointless. I’m going to buy them a structured one so they can curl into their donut bed. Wish it had more structure because it would be perfect and the material is very soft.

Wonderful bed I purchased for my cat. She loves curling up in it and has become her favorite spot in front of a window. Washes and dries well. She does knead it with her nails but it has held up very well. Love it!
