this small radio is one of the best ever purchased. Excellent tone and easier than most to tune into and listen to. easier than many others to operate and use AndWorks well with the local signal which many others do not.I have had many radios of this type and size but this is without doubt the best.

With the recent removal of BBC Radio 4 from AM, my current (very ancient) AM/FM radio which is sans aerial, would not receive radio 4 on FM unless you were holding it ( so acting as an aerial for it ).This is a cheap alternative, which gives decent FM reception even with its aerial un extended, which is a must for the occasions when I use it. Its tone is good, ie not tinny, and it is easy to operate. Ideally, for my use, it could be somewhat smaller, but it is lightweight.

Bought this to save having to use my iPhone battery while listening to radio in the shed/garden. Great little thing. Much louder and clearer sound than you would get from even the most expensive phone. And it's only about the size of a small phone. The batteries last for weeks. The base is a bit narrow so I super-glued the bottom to a cardboard "drink coaster" and now I can place it anywhere without it tipping over! Great buy. Highly recommended.

This radio is great and good value for money if you want a basic radio to take places. It's easy to use, the reception is ok but you do need to be somewhere where you can get perfect reception. You do need to buy batteries as they do not come with it.

This is a great little radio. Old school but clearer. Great for detecting rf interference too.

Only had for one week stopped working total waste of money not good in bin now!
