Hilarious and creative. My 8 year old boy loved them so much he didn't want to do anything but read until he was through with them. I've always been a fan of David Walliams' acting and the books capture his sense of humor.

I like large print books with pictures. These are for 8-12 year olds, but they meet my attention span and understanding level, LOL. I'm now a David Walliams fan!

These are published in the UK which might explain why they're not just raved about here. My grandson, age 8, lives in Ireland where they can't keep them on the shelf. They are very attractive for the younger reader or the child who finds reading challenging. I read these twice a week to him on Skype. It's wonderful to find books to connect to with this young man.

Gave this David Walliams book set to my granddaughter for her 12th birthday. She was so excited about the books since knows the author but didn't have any books by him. She said she was super happy to have some fun books for summer reading.

We loved the books but they were poorly constructed and fell apart as we read them. It was a ‘one and done’ reading as they weren’t good for anything but the trash. Very sad as we’d hoped to pass them on.

English sense of humour. I’m Irish so get it but my American born 8 year old also get it.Laugh out loud funny, moving and meaningful. Crude enough to make a kid laugh without being tasteless. This is my go to birthday gift.

I bought this as a [birthday] gift—kid absolutely loves it. They read the books with great enjoyment. I would recommend it to anyone with grade-school aged children in their lives. They’ll love you for it!
