I have been playing around with various setups over the years & have often found the need to buy another cord or component to make my TV/PC/gaming setup work to my satisfaction.This time, I needed this short cord as the lead into my new Amazon Fire TV because even though I have three HDMI ports, that was the problem right there in itself as I have more gaming systems than I have HDMI ports. So, I have a HDMI splitter that will allow for the use of more external devices on the same HDMI port. Although, not at the same time since that obviously wouldn't be possible.Mind you, I just ordered it. So, I have yet to receive it but its just a HDMI connection cable. So, I don't need it to be here for me to give my opinion on it since I have so many different lengths of the stuff but not a really short one which will make the tangle of wiring behind my TV, all the less complicated.If I feel the need to post an update which I doubt on this product then ok but not really seeing any need.

Anker is a brand I know and trust. I bought this cord because I was having issues with my HDMI cord from my external monitor not connecting to my HDMI port on my laptop. I don't have a traditional docking station and I'm constantly unplugging the HDMI cord/port on my laptop so I was worried the HDMI port was broken. I tried other cheaper HDMI cords but nothing else worked. The Anker HDMI cord is working well, was easy to use, it fits very snug into the port and it has solved the issues I had with the port not recognizing my external monitor. I highly recommend the Anker HDMI cord.

I feel like a borken record reviewing Anker products. I buy so many of them and that in itself should be enough to convince anyone to buy only Anker. I have neverhad and Anker product fail, I have dozens of their various cables, adaptors, chargers, power bricks, etc... Always work and always reliable. I've been in I.T. for more than 35 years... trust me.

Fully supported the 4K HDR output I needed it to, so it's up to spec. I prefer these to the braided cables, as they're thinner, and cables are relatively stationary, negating a lot of the reinforcement braiding provides.
