I have been taking this product for about a year now. It's not something that you will see results instantly, or even in a few months. After about 6 months my lab work came back great, cholesterol was down 30 points, A1C was normal. Will continue taking.

These are the best! So often I buy a supplement with a single herb or vitamin or with various unneeded added things that may add to the same ingredient in other supplements I use and give me a larger dose than I need. Here I have more than several things I would otherwise need to buy separately or do without. Since I take these capsules daily, it’s a good way to make sure I get the liver protective herbs milk thistle, dandelion, and many others, none of which I take daily otherwise, (though I’d like to.) This capsule is recommended on the label 1 daily (300 mg) but I’ve been advised elsewhere that up to 1500 mg is ideal.Maybe starting with 1 in case it upsets your stomach (only side effect that’s talked about, but didn’t happen for me.) Now I take 1 before each meal, so I’m getting 900 mg a day. For weight loss I may start taking more. Berberine helps with insulin resistance, weight loss, blood pressure, and keeping your blood sugar

I started taking berberine to lower my cholesterol because of problems I was having with the statins. Just the berberine was lowering my cholesterol a little. Then I started using turmeric tea in my coffee to try to work on the inflammation in my body. I have lupus, and so that is a chronic problem. When I went to buy more berberine it was very expensive, but then it does have a whole lot more berberine in it, about five times as much as these. Because of the lower price on this I decided to try this, especially because I could stop buying the tea if I was taking all of these supplements in this one pill. It will be a long time before I can test to see if it's making any difference at all in any of those things my cholesterol, my sugars, or anything related to inflammation. But these are a lot more tasty than just the plain Burberry, so it's more pleasant taking them. And it's a lot cheaper, about half. I'll probably try this for a while, check my cholesterol and see what it's doing, and then make a decision on whether I go back to the berberine or continue with this, or do both. At the same time that I started taking these, I stopped taking one of my blood pressure meds, amlodipine, and started taking this, and colloidal silver. I don't know which is doing it, or if stopping the amlodipine is doing it, but I'm a lot stronger than I was before I stopped taking that and started these. Before, I was having trouble rising up on half toe. And that's after a lifetime of toe dancing. Yesterday I got up and thought I could do it now, tried it, and was, indeed, able to go up to have to without holding on to anything and without pulling myself up! Something is definitely working, I'm betting it's a combination of these pills and this colloidal silver.
