I restore vintage radios and needed some stock for recapping these old beauties. This set will do just fine for my present needs.The set includes most of the values that I will be needing. I did test a number of them and all come very close, if not exact, to the printed rating on the cap itself.

Good kit. You will get most useful capacitors values for high voltage applications. Recomending.

This is a good assortment of quality, high voltage poly capacitors from 0.001 uF (1 nF) to 0.56 uF (560 nF) with a maximum voltage rating of 400v. The top row of caps have a maximum rating of 600v. These voltage ratings make them suitable for higher voltage or tube circuits, for example. I measured the capacitance of a few of them and they are well within tolerance of 5%. The markings on each capacitor are clearly stamped, and the storage case is clearly labeled by compartment - 10 pcs of 15 values for each capacitor rating. The leads are for through the hole or breadboard use. I will be using these capacitors in my experiments and projects, and is very useful to have on your bench.

The size and shape of chiclets, this type of film capacitor is touted for efficiency and long life.According to my measurements, these appear to be within 5% tolerance.Hoping to use these where appropriate to replace electrolytics when recapping a board, or otherwise doing board repair.

Great ploy film capacitor kit for electronics hobbyist. Seem to be of good quality for the price. Just wish detailed data sheets were provided or could be found for testing. Otherwise for the price they can’t be beat.
