Great Product
Used this when I went on vacation and it worked a treat, keeping the fish in my pond fed regularly.

Seem like a good idea.
Still not quite sure about this. I have had it for a week now and have it indoors testing it. Having got the timing correct and the amount of feed. It only seems to release 1 feed a day. However that suits me as my fish are used to only being fed once a day. I am waiting for someone to cement a post into the surround of the pond and have purchased a large hanging basket hook which will hang out over the pond. Hope it works.

Good feeder when you are away

It works but amounts it dispenses fluctuate.
Bought this to feed pond fish whilst on holiday. It is one of the cheaper feeders available & is easy to get working. The harder part is setting the timer & the feed dosage. The feeder releases food over a period of 2 or 3 hours which you may like but I'd prefer it to deliver it all in one go. Setting the timer I found to be a bit of a faff but once set it's ok. In use I find it works but getting the dosage right is trial & error & is not exact.I also bought one of these to feed a resident hedgehog & the comments above apply. Bear in mind if the food is of different sizes it can get blocked. Always test it before using it for real.

Holiday fish feeder
Test it first over a bowl to get the setting right before putting in place. Works well. I used for a fish pond for gold fish. Went on holiday for two weeks. Fish ok was empty.

Easy to set up
Easy to set up and work you just need to make up a suitable rig over your pond

Not very good quality
There are several issues with this feeder, the main one being that mine lasted less than 12 months before the timer, which is just a cheap clocks battery mechanism, broke and apparently you cannot buy replacement parts!The next issue is that due to the design I used to find snails had climbed up through the bottom and got into the food (pellets) and due to their slimy nature this had caused the food to stop coming out, or the snail was still inside it blocking the exit.

Handy feeder
Takes a bit of practice to set the measure depending on the type of food you use.I also put mine into an ice cream tub on its side suspended over the pond with a cut out in the side for the food to drop this is just to keep the wind and weather off and works well for me.
