Love being on vitamin B6. I was given sinemet by my neurologist (turned out not Parkinson's in the end) and found quite quickly that I could not walk in the mornings. It would have been comical if it wasn't so serious. I looked up what the c-dopa component did. Horrid drug that irrevocably binds your B6 and wipes it out. I was thankfully only on a low dose of sinemet and have now stopped. My mood had improved so much after a serious problem with movement and mood where walking would trigger a very low mood. Now I am so much better and I don't trip up any more, I can tolerate heat better and, though I still can't walk very far, I have hope. Looking at my symptoms I had had a fit at one point, suffered for years with cracked lips and sores at the side of my mouth and the lack of B6 in my humble opinion was contributing to the Parkinson like symptoms as it helps form dopamine as well as serotonin. I know it's not a panacea, but if you have deficiency symptoms it's worth a try. Nothing happens over night, but over months. I'm on a high dose and wish they would come either in a higher quantity or as an oral spray to cut out the problems I have absorbing oral doses.
