Mean Ludo!
Love this game. My mum is German and played this game as a kid. As little kid, I do remember getting v. cross (bad loser!). It is like ludo but you HAVE to knock pieces off if you land on same place, if you don't you get sent back to base. Translates as "Don't get angry, man!". Simple game to understand, good Christmas game (you can gang up against others!).

fun board game suitable for even very young children
This is a very simple, fun board game suitable for even very young children. We took it on holiday and the whole family played it together shouting "don't get angry, man" every time somebody knocked your piece off the board. It caused a lot of laughter! I can highly recommend it!

Traditional simple German board game for all ages, including ...
Traditional simple German board game for all ages, including very young and elderly! A bit pricey, as can sometimes be found in compendiums in discounters. However - Highest recommendations -, having been invaluable when my children were very young and now successfully stimulating/playing with my 93 year old mother with moderate dementia!
