Loved this book, an easy read and really interesting. Useful tips also

Great book, some really nice ideas which are easy to follow.

A mediocre introduction to design, using a TV program as a cheat.There are rules to interior design that if you know them and become comfortable in interior design, you also know when and where to break them (because by then you understand their limitations). Little of that in this book. Information on colour was nearly useless. Floor descriptions lacked pros and cons.I wouldn't give this book to someone. Have seen better decorating books in the library that are ancient but can be used for any decorating style.Give this a pass if you are already knowledgeable.

The book design itself is something fabulous on its own. Well written, great structure. I enjoyed watching the show and decided to purchase this book but was not expecting to learn anything to be fair, as I'm a designer myself. However, I was mistaken. I learned a thing or two and I really enjoyed reading it too. I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner. Amazing tips, great voice overs. Highly recommended 👌

Loved the TV programme and loved the book even more. Great ideas and tips from Joanne Thornhill, when you’re feeling tired of the same old look in your house and wanting something innovative. The illustrations by Charlotte Orr really bring the text to life and give the reader more inspiration to redesign in terms of colour and space.
