Glides over laminate flooring without any noise. Also way more stable than expected. Sturdy built. Goes up quite high if needed. Would i buy again? Yes. Only gripe i have is that it’s not got brake because it wheels so easy would like to have something to stop when stationary but can live with it how it is. Seat feels comfy too. Time will tell.

Great stool I use it for cooking and needed a heavy duty stool as I can't stand for long periods

I've had this stool for several months and can report it's comfortable even with prolonged use. I have medical issues and cannot stand for very long without pain. I use this stool in my kitchen. The height adjustment stays locked at the height right for me, the wheels roll freely, even with 2 labradors shedding hair everywhere everyday. As a kitchen stool, spills happen but the stool wipes off easily with a soapy cloth. Also the stool is very light weight so carrying it to another room for use is no problem but it's also narrow enough that I can push it throughout the house if needed. It definitely qualifies as 'heavy duty' in my opinion, I am a large, very clumsy person. I look for quality over everything else because my accidents usually end with my belongings damaged or destroyed. This stool takes everything I have given on a daily basis and it is still in its original condition, maybe could use a dust wipe but functionally sound.I would recommend this stool to my friends if they were stool shopping.

Didnt feel safe when i moved around on it and the seat was really uncomfortable

Took a while to find this stool, as I was looking for comfort with a wide base and seat area; oddly the details stated a 100mm # 10CM deep seat, the first one was only 65mm # 6.5CM deep however, the second one was 100CM deep !That aside both are comfortable, for long periods of sitting at whatever task you have on hand... there very easy to assemble with the supplied alien key for the seat boss, 4X bolts to gas stem; each end of the stem just pressure fits into the seat boss and cast aluminium roller wheel base; the wheels are of soft possibly silicone tires.Overall I was happy to find the purchase turned out good for my use. One for my electronics bench and one for the computer desk... my only criticism is the PU seat covering; would have been nice to have a non-plastic covering, or even leather at an extra price increase.

Nicely padded seat- note that you need to sit down squarely on this as the casters are very free wheeling and it can run from under you.Ideally it needs a brake on at least one.The material has puckered slightly after very little use so a niggle over longevity of the covering, hence the drop in one star.
