I use this for auto-translating my lessons for my students (primarily from English to Spanish) so they can follow along with us. My ESL students love it and told me it's helped them a lot!It's very easy to set up with your computer (or Promethean board, in my case), and you can access everything immediately. I love how versatile it is, and you can move around the room while not losing signal to the device. I don't use it for my phone or iPad, however, so I can't really give feedback on that. Looks great, is simple to use, and overall very worth the money!

I purchased this mic to do a review for my youtube community for a budget-friendly mic.I read the lil instruction book and started testing.The first 20sec. was excellent, I used the lightning adapter, and it fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max with Otter Box Defender case on. However it did not fit the Samsung S22 Ultra with a identical case as the USB-C plug is too short to insert.I then used the adapter to USB-A and tested it on PC and the USB-C on a laptop. I discovered a slight hum/buzz in a test video during this testing. I continued trying on the various devices, and sometimes it would have the hum/buzz, others wouldn't. During one of the tests, I bumped the switch key (as it's called in the instructions), and the following video had clearer audio. So I did more testing and discovered there is INFORMATION MISSING IN INSTRUCTIONS!So I made sure to include that in my testing and review video.I also share that information in the video as an additional helpful tip.USEFUL TIPS:1. The Switch Key is the only button on the mic that's easily accessible; the other is a reset button with a tiny lil hole; the switch key is your Power On/Off, Noise Cancellation Mode, & Mute.2. Press and hold the button for 3-5sec to Power on or off. 3. A single button press changes noise cancellation levels. There are three stages (4 technically when noise cancellation is off). You will need to test on each initial recording to determine what level you're on to switch to the desired level. The noise cancellation is likely off if you hear a hum/buzz at a fair tone. One single press will switch to the 1st level of NC, the buzz/hum may still be faint in the background in the low frequency, and another single press will switch to level 2 NC, the buzz/hum is gone, providing clear audio with little to no background noise, another press to switch to level 3 NC, absolute silence until the threshold is reached and clear audio with little to no background noise.3. A quick double tap to mute & a double tap again to unmute.4. The receiver is a bit odd-shaped, so you may need an adapter to extend the USB-C depending on the use case, such as Computers or other devices with limited access space for ports.Overall it's an excellent budget-friendly microphone set that can be used on various devices. It has good audio quality compared to some other brands I've tried over the past few years and returned. I won't be returning this one though. This is going to become my new primary for mobile use.This is a quality, inexpensive microphone that can be used for content creation, podcasting, interviews, and various other use cases.I am an Amazon Influencer. After a year of use. I have found this little thing, despite being forgotten, washed and dried. Left in random placed. Died a few times. AND STILL works after a year. I strongly suggest this budget mic! Though its lacking in that full fledge audio quality you would expect from a $200, for the price point at time of purchase $20 I couldn't ask for a more simple plug and play mic. I use this primarily when my VR headset mic seems to have issues with virtual streaming with a desktop pc when PC linked. Mic doesn't care and just works.

It wasn't amazing, and it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't up to my standards even for a simple video. When I speak I can hear the background noise and when I'm quiet it stops. So it becomes obvious every time I speak again and I'm too OCD to settle without being irritated every time. The clip is much lighter than the mic so the mic awkwardly hangs. J didn't have patience to try to get it right since the sound was already not too impressive. Also, I didn't realize this was the one item that didn't come with 2 mics so just an FYI. There's an empty slot meant for a 2nd one and I honestly thought I dropped and lost it for a minute before I had to go back and read the description. It's not bad for the price and for simple things but not for anything too professional.

I am editing my review because after I posted the last one, customer service reached out to me and offered to replace my faulty microphone at no additional charge. I was skeptical, but the new one arrived quickly and works well. I'm hopeful that I initially just got a bad one and that this one will do the job I need it to.One thing I will say is that if you order this product, you do need to charge the microphone for a bit before using it. The instructions strangely do not say anything about that. It does come with a cord that you'll need to use with your own power base. Since the receiver plugs right into your phone, I don't think it needs to be charged. (The instructions don't say anything about that either.) But all said, the customer service I received was excellent and this is a company that will stand by their product.ORIGINAL REVIEWI bought this lavalier mic a while ago and just recently had occasion to use it. Charged it up and it worked well for one video. After that, the sound stopped and started randomly and even after an hour of trying to record video, everything I did was completely unusable because the mic sound kept coming in and out. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. I do not see any way to contact customer service - if someone would help me get this thing to work I'd gladly update my review. But for now, 1 star (if I could give 0 I would) - because not only can I not get it to work, I can't even find troubleshooting recommendations. I only wished I would have tested it before my return window closed.
