The insulation piercing leads were able to pierce the thick, tough factory insulation on a 2 gauge wire, whereas the previous set of leads just bent & barely made a dent in the insulation. The leads that you put the different clamps or piercing pieces on are WAY too short! They need to be twice as long. I guess I'll use the intermediate leads from the first set that I bought. I haven't tried all the other accessories yet, but I'll update my rating if necessary. I would definitely recommend these for the price, considering that original Fluke leads don't come with all the different clamps and such for a measly price of $225!

Should have bought this kit long ago. Many more connector and end types than I needed but I'm sure I'll find a use for more of them.

Could use flat probes and the piercing clamps are iffy

There are some very useful leads in this kit. Backpins for connectors, insulation piercing, small j hooks, etc. I just wish there was a bit more length on the wired ones.

I have been a professional field and service technician for over 20 years. Needing a new set of probes to help me troubleshoot, I decided to give this set a try. I wasn't disappointed either, it came with almost everything I needed to help me troubleshoot in the field with my multimeter. The only thing that you may have to get is longer lead cables if you like to magnetically hang your meter while troubleshooting. It fit my fluke with no problem, it doesn't seem to be flimsy either.
