Great multi tool sanding accessory
I have used this item for 12+ hours for the sanding/removal of an hard epoxy finish. The pad and sandpaper held up very well and I would recommend this item and would purchase it again if needed.I would recommend running the multitool as a low speed as running it at a high speed may melt/damage the pad.

Great sanding set
Have used it several times now, great quality set. I've sanded doors with it for half a day, and the pad did not melt and barely looks used. If you are melting pads you might have the speed up too high, there is a note on the pad that says max speed is 4, assumingly for a Fein multitool, so judge accordingly for your multitool.

perfect for small jobs
So far the blades have worked pretty good on small projects. Not the best on metal but for the cost I have no problem on ordering another set when these wear out..

An absolute must for Starlock multi tools. Works excellent.
After reading some of the negative reviews I was reluctant to order. But I ordered it because of the name Fein. I don't know why others complained. If used as indicated it works flawless. Produces swirl free sanding. Used different grit sand paper and it excelled. Would highly recommend.

The glue melts when the pad gets hot
Disappointing! The friction from sanding gets the disk and pad hot super fast. When the disk gets hot, the glue melts, and the sanding disk separates from its cloth backing. The cloth backing then gets stuck to the pad. I haven't found a method of removing the glue and cloth from the pad yet. Even when I go slow, and take breaks, it's difficult not to overheat the sanding disk. The Fein tool is an absolutely fantastic quality product. Fein accessories are usually up there with the very best. Strange that Fein puts their name on this set.
