I had the pins fall out like everyone else here but didn't notice that little screw. inside the CV joint there is a little Allen screw that holds the pen in. and put some loctite on it and tighten it up. and these are great shafts

put threadlock on the set screw, you need a 1.5mm hex and blue threadlock. these come hand tight and need to be assembled properly. please disregard the negative comments due to lack of foresight on the buyer. the ones that did shear, i guess take those reviews into consideration.

I think these are overall great quality. I believe that most people who had the pins fall out of the joint failed to notice the 1/16 Allen type grub screw that holds that pin in. Using loctite and making sure that screw is tight before installing is crucial. That being said, I will acknowledge the fact that they should come with loctite from factory. If I have any other issues I will edit this review.

One axel already broke…. Didn’t even last one battery on a stock 540 motor in a Tamiya TT02.

Using these on the front of my TT01 & TT02. So far racing indoors on carpet I have had no issues with these drive shafts.

I saw a lot of reviews with the pins falling out. When I got these, I pressed on the pins hard with a punch and could not get them to move. They either fixed the issue or some people got defective items. Anyway, these fit perfectly on tt02, allow for more suspension travel and have been holding up for the past few weeks.

Not heavy duty, they tend to break

Reason why I gave a 1 star is because the dog one end can slip out of the metal nothing a little glue can’t fix. Used this for my tamiya tt02d Supra which I converted to a race car. After losing a dog bone from the stock axle I decided to try these and since it’s a one piece design it seems better. So far with some hard bashing around and just running a normal nimh battery with a brushed motor it seems to hold up. I only am running the front steering with these since the rear doesn’t take too much of a beating. If they can fix that issue of the dog bone end sliding out of the housing then I would give it five stars it does fit the stock drive cup that goes into the diff.
