Q: spring in earpiece strong enough to hold onto face when you look down ?

I wear these everyday all day...! The solution to them slipping off is reversed with the addition of "heat shrink tubing" of the proper diameter to snugly fit the earpiece part. A short piece of this tubing (1/4"-3/8") is all that's need on each end of the earpiece. I use the Water sealing properties of the two part heat shrink to better adhear to the plastic. Gently heat the material until it grasps the plastic and your done. A 1/4" piece of fish tank air hose may also work for you....? Lastly..., carefully dip the end of the earpiece (wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove residual skin oils) into the trade name product called "Goop", let it dry overnight, it remains soft enough cling to your temples.

Q: How to replace the nose pads

I don’t think they are replaceable. If it came off and you still have it, You could GLUE it in place. I have lost nose pads for 2 of my 3 pair. I contacted the company to get extra nose pads and they said they do not have them as a separate commodity. So I just ordered another set of 3 glasses.
