By my estimate, there are 3,200 beans in this sack. It’s 3,200. So, Anyone can boil these and eat. But there really are 3,200.Actually the best use is as a counting numerical machinePlease let me demonstrateSuppose I want to know how much I have if I subtract 5 from 10?🙋♂️answer: I count out 10 beans, pull away five, put those five to the side, count the other pile and my answer is five!Suppose I want to know how much I had if I added 5 to 5?🙋♂️answer: I count out 5 beans and make a pile. Then I count out 5 more and make a separate pile. Now, push the pile together and count the single pile. That’s the answer!Suppose I want to know the result of gathering up 2 piles, each of the gathered up has 5 beans? Well.🙋♂️answer: Some call that multiplication. To get the result, measure out the first pile of 5, then do it a second (2) time, push all the beans together and count the combined pile. That’s the answer!There’s still dividing up. Best beans ever
I have tried numerous brands of kidney beans, from grocery store to so-called “premium” beans. These are the best that I have tried. They cook up tender and flavorful, and add a great deal to my red beans and rice. These were a great discovery and will be my go-to brand in the future.

I cooked these up in the Instantpot and they turned out well. Very fresh with good flavor.

Tough skins - didn’t seem fresh
These light red kidney beans cost a little more than I’m used to paying for non-GMO dry beans locally. But, I was impressed by the description and the reviews, and when I received them I liked the brown paper bag packaging. I so wanted to love them. But after soaking them as directed on the packaging (I always soak dry beans before cooking), and cooking them as I usually do in my instant pot, I was very disappointed. The skins were tough, and the beans tasted old.

As you'll see in the photos, I received 3.7 lbs, not 4 lbs.8% loss on pricey beans isn't great, so I likely won't order again.
