Fun but different levels of difficulty.
Very good book with unusual exercises in various levels of difficulty, some of them quite challenging. Probably best not to push the child if they are struggling - just move on to another problem and revisit the tough ones at a later date.

Brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. My children love this book and regularly want to use them. I have a 3, 5, 7 and 8 year old and they each have the book for their age group. They are learning lots and it’s meant we are interacting more as I work with them on it where they want help. I can’t recommend them enough

Really great puzzle book to take when travelling
This is a great book full of an array of different types of puzzles and brain teasers which vary in difficulty. It was tricky enough to keep my 7 year old daughter interested on the plane so a win-win!

Good fun, non-intimidating way to learn/teach
Bought this as a way to prep a child for the non-verbal reasoning component of the 11 plus. The design of the book and the cover is very different to most other material from companies and publishers who produce books, flash cards and other study aids. As a result i have found it results in better engagement as it is presented in a fun and engaging way. It probably challenge 10 year olds as much as it might do 6-8 year olds. The answers at the back make it useful to work backwards and figure out the route to the answers to the puzzles and questions.

Engaging and Exciting
Bold and easy-to-understand diagrams and puzzles. This is a fun learning book for kids. Funny illustrations and diagrams keep the interest going. A wide selection of thought and observation-provoking tasks. It gives parents a heads-up on how their child's level of comprehension. Exercises cover ages 6-19, for now, some may be too hard for the younger ones, but possibly suitable for older Syblins. I recommend the book because of its fun and promotes cognitive reasoning

An excellent way to develop logical thinking in your child
My young granddaughter laps up this kind of 'puzzle'. Logical thinking should be taught as an individual lesson in schools, but isn't. She's ahead of the game and loves working out how to solve the puzzles. It often requires sustained effort and a level of concentration children find difficult in this culture of quick changes, flashes and distracting whistles and bangs. If she's stuck it gives the parent (or granny) a chance to work along side her, verbalising the problem, learning new ways of attacking the problem and then a joint celebration when the problem is solved. This helps to encourage co-operation and communication skills across the age gap. Not a bad thing to today's world. I highly recommend this book.

Not for grandparents
Great for my 8 year old grandson but made my head explode. Keeps him quiet and looking farward to another. Thanks
