BOURSIN Door Lock Cylinder Repair Kit Compatible with BMW E46 3 Series M3 1998-2006 Front L/R Side

I had a lock that was starting to feel not quite right and stiff to turn. Sure enough I took it apart and the pieces were broken. These pieces fit perfectly, and the lock is working good as new again.

Worked as advertised. All metal parts, Great value for the money. Worked on my E46 2002 bmw 325i.

I watched some youtube videos first, and it took less than 10 minutes to repair the door lock on my 2001 330Ci.

This kit works!I have a 2004 BMW 325ic and my door lock cylinder failed. I researched the automotive web and took note of these kits that would allow you to rebuild the lock cylinder parts that would fail and you could save money not having the dealer to repair this issue and spending big money to have new car keys cut and programed. It's a good thing I ordered 2 different kits from different suppliers, this one and another brand named Keenso. I spent a couple of days trying to get the keenso kit to work. The problem with that other kit is 1. The parts are not cut correctly. The flat slotted washer that is used to hold everything in place is a bit too thick.2. The keyed tab pieces that are in that kit - one is for NA/USA,CAN made vehicles and the other piece is for European right hade drive. Only one would work depending on your vehicles build. The assembly is part the issue. When I reinstalled the cylinder back into the door the lock was 180 degrees out of the locking / unlocking position and I would remove it and make sure the actuator was in the correct position and try again. It would not line up no matter which position I would put it in. I re-assembled the cylinder 30 times and the results were the same. So I choose this kit. The price of this kit was $11.00 The other kit was $8.00. This kit worked and only took 10 mins to install and the lock cylinder operates like factory. Also this kit did come with a dowl pin which the other kit did not. I hope this helps you out. I would return the other kit but its not worth the time for the price. Thanks.

Good product. Fixed my issue. Door unlocks and locks again. Material is not on par with OEM, so time will only tell quality. I did only replace the pieces of the lock that broke, so I do hope it holds up.

Prefect fit. Easy to insult.

I purchased this August 14th, 2023 and I am now having to replace it as of June 28th!!! The fact it doesn't last days alot!!!!

made of the same cheap material the factory parts were. But with that being said it took 21 years and 280k miles for my factory one to break. Seems like it will hold up fine and works flawlessly. Make sure to grease everything really well before reinstalling the lock cylinder into the handle.

The media could not be loaded.  No fue fácil pero lo instalé con mis propias manos, nunca había hecho algo así. Es mi primer coche y la primera vez que le arreglo algo. Todo funcionó a la perfección.
