Does what it is designed to do. No, the tissue box doesn't fit inside so remove the tissues from their box and put them in the tissue holder. Easy peasy. No issues. Looks good.

This tissue box is pretty nice. There were no scratches or other damage. I will say that the measurements are misleading. I thought it would fit a regular American, box of tissues but, because of the internal carvings to mimic real books, I had to take the tissues out of the box. This made the hole in the top too large to nicely hold up the tissue on top. I just cut the top of the cardboard tissue box off and set it on top of the stack of tissues to make the hole smaller. It worked out great!I still gave it 5 stars because it’s cool and looks great!

I really like the antique look of this box. It seems well-made and painted nicely. My only complaint is that it literally is 2 mm too small to be able to put a standard tissue box in there. you end up having to cut one end of the tissue box off, so it fits inside.

I love the stacked book look. It holds tissues in my family room.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend around the Christmas time. Unfortunately she got deployed as she's in the military and never got to open the gift until recently. I discovered that not only was the tissue box in bad condition/shape upon arrival, but it doesn't actually hold a tissue box. Hit with this equally bad scenario, save the $20 and buy something else; this tissue holder is not only terrible at functioning for what it's supposed to but it's also poorly crafted with scratches and dents in the box upon arrival.

He too blue was really more black, and it was scuffed. Since the books are staggered, the inside is too, so a box of tissue will not fit, you have to remove the tissues from the box to use it.

I love this tissue box. Well constructed and blends in with my book theme decorations in my home. The colors are nice too and the box looks like a stack of books. A regular US size tissue cardboard box will not fit inside this book box. I take the tissues out and place them in the book box. I like the wide opening which makes it easy to reach in and get a tissue. My husband prefers the slot opening so he cut the lid off the cardboard tissue box and glued it to the underside of the 2nd book box I purchased. It works great both ways. I have now purchased 4 of these boxes and will order more for my other rooms as well. This will make a great house warming gift also. Very nice!

We saw this at a bed and breakfast and loved it so much we bought one later from Amazon. There were more expensive versions on here, but honestly this is amazing quality and holds an average size box perfectly! No regrets!

There are many reviews here that say a Kleenex box does not fit inside. I was able to fit a standard box of Scotties (a Canadian competitor's brand) in it - but it's a tight fit. My order arrived in perfect condition. It will make a wonderful gift.
