It is a beautiful pen. It was a bit on the light side when I hold it in my hand. However, it is very smooth and a job to wite with. I definitely recommand it. At this price point, you cannot loose.

I received my cross pen Bailey today. The pen is very nice and as described. I requested the fine nib but I think they sent me a medium nib because it writes thickly but very smoothly, no complaints on the writing ability. The only other concern is I received only one ink cartridge and the description states that two are included. The pen was packaged nicely in a black cardboard type box with a plastic tray inside that holds the pen. So far just doodling and testing the writing, the pen has not skipped, or torn paper. The color of the pen is coral and is a nice shade. The pen cap posts easily on the end of the pen if you like that and also the cap clicks nicely when pushing in place to cover the nib. Nice and secure. Would have given 5 stars if I had received the second cartridge and the correct nib

These were great! I will be adding them to Christmas presents this year. Makes a gift card look a little more personal.

I can’t believe Cross made something so cheap. Yes I know it’s resin, but feels like a $0.50 plastic pen. I would let you know how it writes but it didn’t come with any ink. Extremely disappointed.

I purchased this pen because I wanted an everyday pen that if I lost it or someone used it from my desk and it disappeared I wouldn't be as upset as the more expensive ones. I ordered the Waterman Kultur first and right from the start it was tearing the paper and not smooth. So I sent it back and requested a replacement, which was the same thing. I decided to get the cross as it was more or less the same price range. I am so impressed, I absolutely love the color! It writes soo smooth and it feels good in the hand not too light or heavy, it's just perfect. Needless to say, sending the Waterman replacement back and I'm going to purchase the cross in the coral color. I would definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed.Update: I purchased the Coral to give as a gift. I was glad the package was delivered quickly just in time for mothers day. However, I was disappointed as it did not come in a gift box, and the two cartridges were also missing. Now I will have to buy something to put the pen in, and cartridges before gifting. Due to the fact that I now have to spend more money (so i'm not saving anything) i have given it three stars. The pen itself looks beautiful. I can't comment on anything else as it's a gift.

Highly recommend the cross bailey light if you are just getting into fountain pens. It writes smooth on thin and thick paper. Any size over fine can bleed through thinner paper but if you want a thicker draw, you should get thicker paper.
